When the "rumors" about "another Blackout toy being released" showed up the other day in the "ShoWest spoilers" stuff, I'd hoped it meant we were getting a Leader Blackout.
I think I'll stick with Whirl instead of this, unless the robot mode looks really good. The bland paintjob in alt. mode isn't doing it for me.

 

Hm, I was looking for a good copy of the Cyb. Ransack mold. How fortuitous.

 

Seems like the Uni2.0 line is going to continue while the movie stuff is happening, but it's taking a serious nose dive in quality. Kind of a bummer.

I can't even tell you who those 3 characters are in that 3-pack. All I can see are figures with Cyb keys, a Beast Wars'ish figure, and a truck cab that is entirely intact for an alt-mode chest. Definitely a big pass.

I wonder if it ends up being a store exclusive or something. No stickers to indicate if it is.

 

You're missing out on some great molds then. And also, a cab for chest...now who does that remind me of...

It's that one guy from waaaay back in the 80's. Only took 2 or 3 seconds to transform. Numero Uno or something...

 

Megawave? Bumblescream? Jeez, this is gonna bug me all day...

I'm interested in the Cybertron 3-pack, since I don't have any toys made with those molds and I want Repugnus for my dinosaur TF collection.

 

O such a pass, not a fan of these molds...maybe ransack but not going to get it just for him.

 

If its Grindor (or any other original character), sold. Otherwise, pass.

 

Blech. More Cybertron molds repainted for Universe. At least repaint the molds made for Classics/Universe for the repaints.

Here are few off the top of my head (just for you, HasTak):

Gears from Ironhide or Hound, Windcharger from Sideswipe or Rodimus (minus the wings), Trailbreaker from Hound (with a camper shell), Wheeljack from Sideswipe or Mirage. Prowl could easily be made into Jazz, Optimus could be made into Huffer/Pipes, Ironhide could be made into Brawn (add wheel on roof, change colors and head), Soundwave could be made from an electronics-free music label SW, Shockwave could be remolded from Megatron, etc, etc, etc.

Not to mention the easy to engineer molds like the tapes, or even Movie to Universe repaints like (whatever Movie camera robot's name was) to Reflector.

Please, no more AIC molds.

 

These aren't repaints, they're more kind of "reissues".

 

When are they going to rerelease the better Energon/ Cybertron molds I mssed the first time around.

also could it be blackout repaint after all i did see blackout with the other decepticons beating the heck out of prime on the leaked footage.

 

I really dislike that three pack for some reason.

 

Pry for the same reason I hate it, no repaints.
