im warming to devs but the fact that id have to spend around £200 to own a fully transforming set................ DO ME A FUCKING FAVOUR HASBRO! WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? i dont want 6 tonka trucks that make 1 robot and i dont want 6 robots that combine into a giant in the film but not as toys. i understand that the design of movie devs is complecated but they should have come up with something. the only version ill own is the robot hero as long as they relise it. rant over, calm returning.

I wonder if the nose of jetfire provides the other half of his back spikes on the jet engines or if the engines split in to sections and the nose kibble is suppose to just sit on his back.

I expected more from his gun than that - it's pretty poor looking.

I'm sure it can be better transformed than shown though.

Stands to reason that if their photo guy can't figure out deluxes most of the time then this would be a pretty big challenge. :lol

Looking at the shilloutte again I'm reminded that those legs & feet clearly aren't primes. The feet are pointed so it looks like the neck & nose cone of the jet may well come down and attach to the back of primes legs somehow forming some kind of massive junky looking exo suit... thing.

Gotta be better than this at any rate...

Eh? I'm sure this is mistransformed... especially with this new pic that just surfaced of the keychain. Looks like certain sections may form leg guards and such. Either way... I'll probably still end up picking these two up...

I am not impressed even the powerbot version is looking better than this right now.

Atleast Optimus is doing something good for the elderly and is giving them piggybacks. Seriously I need to see a better pic.

What I can see, I like. The only thing I really have a problem with is scale. Wouldn't Jetfire be a whole lot bigger than Prime, being a jet and all? I mean, I know this is Transformers, and scale is often an issue, but I thought there wasn't gonna be any issues with it with the movies? I don't know, it just bothers me. In any case, these are a definite buy.

The Jet of choise (SR-27) is one of the thinest jets ever, except for the cockpit and engines he's almost 100% hollow, which translates into a not so much bigger than Optimus robot.

    "Not so much bigger"?

    huh...

The cockpit itself is nearly the size of a truck...

And 100% of the cockpit turns into his arms.

As I said, it all depends on how the robot transforms and the vehicle mass, the vehicle is already thin as hell and the robot is a hunchback that uses 80% of the jet for his chicken legs and arms, therefore it's not much bigger.

I've never had a reason to say it before, so here's my first:
