Leader? Better alt mode? You must be kidding. That's its biggest flaw.

This guy looks amazing, even in green. I guess I will be buying 2 movie voyagers, Megs and Fallen. They even match.

Wow he looks REALLY good, the green-ish plastic gives him that metallic feel that would look bland with true grey plastic.

Wow. The poses this guy can do are amazing and very movie-accurate. This has just moved to must buy to buy on first sighting.

Finally, a movie Megatron worth buying. Some impressive bendyness on this guy too.

C'mon Hasbro, what is with the deal with not having movie-accurate paint jobs on toys? How hard is it? C'mon! Megatron is silver, black, and gold.... Not pink, blue, and gray. Not Green. SILVER, BLACK, AND GOLD.

It's crap like this that kept me from buying the movie figures from two years ago. The detail on these toys is horrid. Remember the Transformers and GI Joe toys of the 80's? They came with 20 pages of stickers improving the detail of the figure... What happen to those? Why must a third party do your job for you? Why does Megatron's face look like a pile of old mac n' cheese? Why not use the sculptors from the Starwars lines to make the Transformers toys? Somehow, they can capture Harrison Ford's look in a face smaller than a dime, something you seem to miss on a toy 10 times bigger! Seriously, epic "F" for Hasbro for quality.

Reading the other posts in this thread, tho, I understand how Hasbro gets away with it. No one cares about quality, just that it has elbows. As a microcosm of the bigger picture involving the evolution of humanity, I seriously fear for this species.

The alt mode is still odd to me but these photos of the bot mode make him look like a winner-or close to it. At least one thing is for sure, we finally get a Megatron with a great head/face. That expression is perfect.

Maybe I'll hold off for this version on sale or see if a premium/limited edition version is released later that's actually silver.

Wow, that's actually really neat. I was planning on only getting the Leader version of Megatron, but I might just pick up this one as well...or even instead. Looking forward to seeing it on the shelves.

WTF? This one looks better than the leader. Too bad it's a whole lot smaller than Leader Prime. I'd prefer this one over the craptastic leader version. At least both arms can bend at the elbow. I hope at the end of this movie, they give Megatron an earth mode. Maybe then we'll get a descent leader version next time around. And whats with the fucking paint scheme? Fuckin lame. All the paint apps on these new movie toys are shitty.

My same thoughts when I read your nitpicky barrage, the sculpting is pretty much perfect considering the material Hasbro is given from ILM's designers, which by the way IS far more complex than Harrison Ford's face.

Also the color scheme is supposed to mimic a underwater Megatron along with the fins, want a grey black and gold Megatron? Buy the leader or the legends or the FAB or the TF1 Premium.

And to think somebody got to the point of blaming humanity for opinion on childen play things.

Cool pictures; nice posing. Green does not look too bad in robot mode. His knees and some joints are grey, so it gives him a rusty look or something like that. I really dislike how the color looks in tank mode, though. I'll wait for the Premium or a huge sale discount... Actually, I'd wait for the Premium IN a huge sale discount. Same goes for the Leader one.

It's just the paint that is disappointing. The sculpting, the details are all top notch on most figures Hasbro puts out today. And stickers? Really? The single laziest excuse not to add details (both painted and molded)?

I lol'd, how a complaint about a toy can wind into the de-evolution (or is it Deevo-lution...hmmm) of humanity.

Run for the hills folks, this kick ass toy is the sign of the end!
