hi i'm new to the boards and a new-ish tf fan. I used to watch some series a few years ago and only started collecting the toys 2 years ago only toys i have so far are animated and movie 2007 hope to get universe. thanks for a happy welcome!!!!!!

Hello all. I'm new here but have been eyeing this site for quite some time now. I've just been really impressed with the news section and so I would always hear rumors, then go on to the site to see what was really going on. I'm lookin forward to getting into certain discussions in the forums...mostly Animated discussions. Besides that, that's pretty much me in an allspark.

 

Hello! I'm Simon. I've popped across here form UK site thetransformers.net. I've been into TFs since '84, and kind of pick and choose the bits I like. Which are the early G1 toys, the Marvel UK comics, the G1.5 line that was a Euro exclusive (I have all of it and they are lovely!). I really liked the G2 comic and some of the toys. Beast Wars probably stands head and shoulders above these for me, followed by Animated. I don't care much for the original cartoon myself, its a bit creaky even by 1980s standards (compare it to MASK or Thundercats! go, on I dares ya!) and think Masterforce is ace.

Outside of TFs I like all sorts of guff, loads of UK TV shows like Life On Mars (remade recently for US audiences), Doctor Who, Being Human and Black Books. I've also got into Lego Castle from the spooky 1980s and DCs awesome Ame-Comi statues. I like music a lot too, in all its varying shades and read a few comics, my perennial faves being Death's Head and Ghost Rider (Ketch version).

I am currently eating a sandwich.
