    Word.

A straight repaint with none of the issues corrected = waste of time and not worth the $15-$20 they will be asking.

I think that it's an interesting use of the mold, though it's already received a Magnus paint scheme. I personally don't have a need for this mold, though if it ends up clearance I may purchase him for the right price. I'm strongly interested in Thrust, and Hot Zone though. Thus, i'll likely purchase those two right out of the gate.

I'm sure that someone out there is looking forward to this repaint, since it'll probably be their first exposure to it. All Titanium figures had faults of some kind, including the last molds released (Prowl and Grimlock). It's just a matter of how much you are willing to overlook those flaws, and how much the characters appeal to you.

I might get this, but I'll wait for some non-backlit pics so I can see the details before I decide.

Ouch really? Really? The Toysrus exclusives were only 20 bucks a piece, and the two pack of Megatron and Prime WWIs were that price..._| ̄|○

Oh, I dunno. I'm kinda glad to see this coming back. I passed it up the first time and have kinda regretted it.

    Woops. Never mind.
    Pass.

Well Shocky and Sunny are justified because you save like 2.50 then buying the two molds separately. I can't imagine these Titaniums to go over 20

That's a terrible guess then. And some pretty kindergarten logic.

Shockwave and Sunstorm came with Activators too. Activators and Voyagers retail at $20ish and $8ish respectively. The fact that they were being marketed at $25.99 meant you SAVED money, rather than buying a voyager and activator separately.

Seriously, how does $29.99 even make sense?

And to the people that believed this the moment they read it...REALLY?

how is this a wacked out guess? The TRU's around here ran the WWI grimlock and prowl for $24.99 when they were sold....and with the economy and price increase....TRU is getting $29.99 for countdown and darkwing....

Like i said i am guessing...but it is a educated guess since prices have been climbing up....

Since I have no Titaniums, and I want to be able to say that I have at least one, I may pick this up. I'll have to see more pictures of the others before I come to a decision, though.

Target isn't TRU, they don't do markups like that. The Grimmy/Prowl wave was a limited run anyway, driving the price up on those regardless. And up until Universe 2.0, all Ultras were MSRPed at about $30 everywhere.

I'll get it cause I can't pass up a Prime, but I like the original paint scheme over the new one. Too much blue on the repaint in my opinion.

Hasbro - We don't care for these repaints. Whatever happened to the Arcee, Cosmos, Shockwave, WW Bumblebee/Cliffjumper etc. you had in the works? It couldn't be that much of a stretch to put those moulds into production? Could it? :)

The molds were never produced, they got as far as Hard Copies, grey clay sculpts. Which makes it impossible for Hasbro to release them without spending a bunch of money on making new molds.

Wow...I doubt I'll pick this up, but really that is a very classy re-deco.
