Neat idea, but I like my Deep Desert Brawl better.
Now they just need a desert camo repaint of Legends Brawl and they'll be all set.  

 

Paint is not bad but I don't need to buy another one of this mold.

 

We get it, you have a lot of toys that we don't.

 

The lack of bot mode paint apps really hurt the otherwise pretty decent look of the figure (shame the mold is sorely lacking compared to the outstanding leader class), I mean his arms alone are just terrible like that, all tan.

 

personally i like him a little better cause he has the extra color of plastic, the white and his face looks a little better without the gold on the third eye

 

Hey, GenZhao, have they fixed the arms on this version? I really doubt they would, but I thought I'd ask anyways. I like this paint scheme better then the green one, but after getting rid of that version of the mold because the arms never pegged in right I wouldn't want to get burned a second time.

 

I personally think it looks pretty good in those colors, and I am pretty suprised how much I like it. The lighter colors make some of his details pop a bit more than the original. Now will I buy another one? Probably not. My only hope is that it looks good enough to keep it from being a pegwarmer all summer. That is my only fear of having too many repaints from the first line, we don't want to get Payloaded by multiple figures this year.

 

Did they run out of brown plastic to use for the tabs? PASS.

 

when you say fix the arms, do you mean did they make the connection from the shoulders to the side of the body tight?

and if that is the case, yes, they fixed the shoulders. My video review should be online in the next 24 hours and I talked about that in it.

 

Added that to the FP, that's excellent news in and of itself!

 

What about the plastic gears for the automorph feature? The last one had brittle clear plastic that broke after a couple of use. What about this one?

i like this deco of brawl. I have the leader version painted up like this and its one of my favorite movie toys

but this mold, not so much

 

Those are some great comparison shots. As a deluxe, I feel the original color scheme fits better, and the Deep Desert for the Leader class.

 

Pass for me. I've already got the Leader version. Although, I wish the deluxe Desert Brawl had come out originally. I could've saved some money on a cheaper size class.
