That's what I did and it improved the figure greatly for me. They still didn't clip fully, but it kept them supported enough to be able to have the arms up without flopping:

If thats how they all are I'll be picking this one up. I love that mold.

 

Bot-mode looks good. I even like the two different shades of tan used on him (the one looks a bit more yellow than the other one). It looks like the shoulders will clip in better on this repaint. I'll be renaming him Armorhide when I get him though (as a homage to this guy, as he had a similar camo on the show). I like the clear orange plastic they're using for this one. Looks good with the desert camo. Just curious, but what is the Optimus Prime and Ratchet things from? I don't remember either one of those for some reason.

 

Just once I wish people would just paint the shoulders with transparent nail polish, instead of just whining about them...Finding Solutions tops Complaining about Problems.

Gods - another repaint? Between Brawl & Barricade - grrr - I hope (while I didn't like Brawl in any way/shape or form) that they're actually *in* ROTF; otherwise color me an unamused consumer.

 

The robot mode looks fantastic! The colors work well with this mould, and it looks like the shoulders are sturdier.

 

I bought the Allspark Powered Brawl and it is really lose, parts pop off and he has the shoulder problem. I like the mold a lot and this colour does looks good but I will not buy it just because I have one.

 

I bought the leader class for my nephew's bday. what a disaster. the transformation was insane. I should have gotten him this deluxe size alongside a few other deluxe TFTM toys. much cleaner.

 

This Brawl looks good, but he seems a bit lacing the the paint department for robot mode.

Since I already have the regular Leader-class version, I may pick up this guy as well just to have something different than a regular deluxe movie 1 brawl.

 

EASY pass.

 

My sister's still traumatized by Jazz's death in the first film, so she might buy that. Don't give Hasbro any ideas. Ha.

Practically every movie based toy line these days involves characters not in the film.

 

Got the 1st Leader Class Brawl at a store for 30€ off usual price, But for this 2nd Movie Repaint, they should actually get some tougher Gears, that doesn't break that easily, those translucent-orange gears startet to break apart, as the head was slightly blocking the Automorph for the first time, even tough I didn't use force.

Well, maybe looking for a Review on YouTube helps, I'm actually watching them, before I'm making a decision.

 

Could the Seller please show us more pictures of the small Optimus Prime figure that is pictured with the Desert Brawl figure?

 

I'm totally getting this. I love this mold even though the shoulders could be better. I just wish this one had more paint apps but I can fix that. Nice color scheme
