TF08.net has uploaded some possible updates for their TF-001 City Commander upgrade set. Looks pretty good.

What the hell? They are going to put in a giant hammer and a flag too?

This must be a reference to something I have no knowledge of....

Upgrades upon upgrades for this upgrade. This one happens to the most pointless... big pass.

Okay, the hammer is a nice nod to Animated Magnus. The flag? Uhh.... Ok...

I'm surprising myself by saying this, but I actually like the hammer concept. I'm no Animated fan by any means, but the idea of Magnus/CC wielding the smash stick is growing on me. I just hope they match CC's color scheme, and that the detailing isn't going to overpower the more subtle detail on the CC mold.

    wtf @ flag, though.

Hammers. The staff for the huge hammer comes apart, allowing him to dual-wield two smaller hammers. The head comes apart to form those. I'm guessing the flag is just a piece of cloth you can add to the combined staffs instead of the giant hammer head. So it's really one upgrade with multiple forms.

Is this instead of the sword in their set, or?

Ooh - and they're using the Wrecker logos!

I wasn't going to get this set - no interest in the sword or the new head - but these hammers are WIN!

Color scheme DOES need help, though...

Nice! Hammers rock and a lot of nice little nods to the wreckers "universe". This set is turning out to be a really nice one. I can't wait to add this to my city commander Ultra Magnus.

This is... Interesting, to say the least. the hammer is pure win so far, might actually be tempted. The flagpole... Ehh, I'm not convinced.

    A flag...and a hammer....which will probably retail for 29.99.

I'm...starting to think that the unofficial accessory packs have jumped the shark.

...unless they're holding out on a sharkticon upgrade set, in which case it might be more apt.

So I guess iGears isn't following the other groups in terms of putting full trademarked images/ect on their products. So far, other groups are staying away from using trademarked logos and putting official characters on the packaging so that their a bit safer from Hasbro. Looks like iGears isn't worrying about all that.

Well at least you can give them some credit for doing something different. These are definitely interesting. Maybe them or another group can make an axe for Prime/Convoy.

    Is the wreckers' logo trademarked?

I don't think it was based on anything in particular. My guestimate is that they just thought it would be a nice little add on or touch, that's all.

Given that they already had the pole... Yeah - probably just looking for other things to chuck in.

I guess if people keep buying stuff like this, they'll keep making it.

I actually like these add ons. :redface2:

Question though: are those available solo, or will be included with the CC head replacement? 'Cause I like CC's head just the way it is.

Cool. I don't buy most of these sets but I'm really glad they make them. It's almost like reprolabels making stickers for alternators, I bought a few but not all. If these aftermarket companies do well they will eventually put out something for everyone. If you haven't bought anything from one yet there is a good chance you will eventually. It's all about personal tastes
