    in before bitching and misconceptions about Hot Topic customers and employees. My wife is a HT store manager and she told me to expect TOOOOOONS of ROTF merch there

    HT sucks from an employee standpoint. It's only decent benefit is the discount but that's only nice if you really like clothes. Otherwise, it's crap work for crap pay.

    As far as merch, eh. Every couple of years they're good and right now, that is not one of those years.


    I do like this shirt but I have enough TF merch ATM to keep me satisfied. Maybe it's me getting older but I'm sort of tired of buying random merch. Toys are really the only thing that keep me happy.

    yeah I worked at Hot Topic for a short time while my wife worked at sister company Torrid. They paid me minimum wage despite YEARS of retail experience. I think most people would be better off at fast food

    You really didn't like it? That sucks man I work there now and it's probably the best job I've ever had. Totally agree though the pay sucks, but after working in two different stores I still gotta say some of the best people work for our company.

    It's funny Transformers actually got me the job haha. Impressed the boss with my knowledge of the series, and since the movie was a big seller for us she wanted an expert lol.

    Oh, and I picked that shirt up a few days ago haha.
