Magnus..on a operating table. Clearly related to the previous pic with the huge damage. I like how the backpack piece and his hand are linked into him still. Could this be the location for the passing of the matrix? It seems familiar. Anyway, I think the jungle is actually the most unique background here. It looks prehistoric. Dinobot Island Time Travel Homage?
Magnus...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why do they have to kill to promote prime? Do you think it Rodimus' fault or maybe BB? I know it's sentinel's fault. They made sentinel a hated character so it's easy to blame him. They've also made Magnus a questionable leader because his seemingly harsh and cold decisions. Magnus is a great leader but every leader has problems with subordinates that don't listen.
Speculation: The underground lair belongs to Soundwave. There's been a rumor that Season 3 contains a two-part episode where Soundwave traps the Autobots in a virtual reality world where they are given human avatars; the five "beds" could be where Soundwave places the Autobot's bodies while they're hooked into the VR world. Also, the lair appears to be in a sewer, or underground pipe system, which was the last place we saw Soundwave.
My Speculation: The underground lair belongs to Prometheus Black who the Autobots are forced to work with by turning them into organics to fight Soundwave, due to Soundwave’s abilities to control other machines.
This is what I think of this purpley place, if Blurr comes back. Looking at the chute in transwarped that CJ puts the blurr cube in and at the yellow/black striped doors here, along with more cube shaped things, I think that is where Blurr will go. (only if he does come back)
I'm actually going out on a limb and speculating that the underground lair belongs to Soundwave. Recall that we last left him in the corner of a sewer with a blinking chest light, so I think it might be logical that he'd use the sewer as his renewed base of operations. Besides, wanting to market and advertise for the movie, I would bet at least a few Washingtons that Soundwave makes a comeback this season.
I think that actually *might* be Soundwave's lair. Black's stuff tends to be really gritty and steely looking. Dunno about BA's personal aesthetics, but I don't think she'd chill in a subway pipe - it IS a subway, you can see the tracks in the upper right corner. Plus, the lighting scheme looks like Soundwave's blue-and-teal dealy his vehicle mode has going on.
Lol..Magnus manages to get himself slagged. Though, before reading all of the comments, I never thought about him offlining so OP could take over. That'd be pretty cool
