Guard City and Battle Gaia are two sets that I would love to have someday. I thought they were too expensive when I began collecting a few years ago... little did I know.

couple unique things I picked up here and there, got these in a random lot of little plastic robots (mostly macross crap and some older sentai stuff, but these 3 seem to be diaclone?



the little yellow guy is slightly larger then a diaclone driver, I have a yellow, red,blue and white one (white has a medical cross on it) theres also a bunch of monster/mutant figures from the same lot that seem similar. any ideas on the history of em? I think the human guy is just some micromachines crap from the 90s.

I love the Defensor gestalt and the colors are great IMO. I've got a loose Fire Chief that I bought off eBay a few years ago for a measly $5. It was in junker lot...I wasn't sure if it was legit w/ all of those cheap bootlegs floating around, but I saw the chest piece was orange so I took a chance. Much to my surprise it was authentic! It'll probably be the closest I get to Guard City though.

 

Yeah, I would have done the same if I saw that chance. If you mixed up a bunch of takara guard city with KOs, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference if it wasn't for the takara stamps. The quality of this set is extremely poor imo. I'm happy for the price I paid for him but will never shell out what he's going for in the market price. As for battle gial, I just got the KO giftset for $70 shipped form taiwan to me. After seeing gaurd city's crappy quality, I'm sure battle isn't different either.

 

I forgot about that Taiwanese Battle Gaia KO. I'd love to find one of those again...

 

Yeah, they're getting harder to find. For a while, they were everywhere but I haven't seen one for a while. But then again, I'm not actually searching for them. I would like to get my hands on the Guard City KO...

 

The yellow guy might be a Capsela figure. I used to use those as drivers for my G1 figures.

 

Where are my images Mr Stop!  

 

Do the figures have a company name or trademark? Also are thos KO tfs zipper and pencil toppers in keychain form?

My stuff is at my parents, So I will swing by and get some pics for ya   sorry for the delay..
