Question to the members found them at the bench/shelf (not pulled from the back)

I am wondering .. are these placed at the regular TF area or at an end cap *(like the seasonal items) ?

I just noticed the recent week, the Targets store I stopped by have placed the MightyMuggs TF 's price tag between the Universe Voyager and Animated Voyager 's area... wondering if these are going to be placed else where ... Thanks,.

 

Sweet! I'll have to start stalking my local Targets now. Hopefully they arrive in California soon if they haven't already.

According to silentrob, they're going on an endcap. Which is typical with most Target exclusives (see the 2 Universe comic packs as examples).

 

Heres hoping Canadian Zellers store get them in, since they seem to get in everything else exclusive to Target.  

 

Hopefully. Cause it's either that or inflated ebay prices >_<

Sunstorm is cool, but not loving Ratchet

 

This thing hasn't worked for a couple days. Any idea why?

 

Because Target can't keep their crap running right?

The excuse that the inventory system isn't working is BS. If you try other items they come up fine. It is just these two exclusives from what I have found.

 

I wonder if someone from Target HQ has been eyeing these boards and disabled those two.  

 

SO I GOT THEM BOTH! WOOOOOOOOOO!

Took the DCPI number on a piece of scratch and went to the second nearest Target near me. The closest Target, I had just been there the other day and their toy isle was decimated. So I went to the 2nd Target, looked around, and didn't see it. Went to the machine and punched the numbers in and it said they were in the stockroom! I then went to a employee and asked if he could grab me a couple. He entered the numbers on his machine and told me "these have a soft shelf date of March 22nd. I'm not allowed to put them out until then. Some other people have been asking about them too. Mostly collectors." I was pissed off, but I said thanks and left. I was going to go home but I decided to try another Target even further out.

So I look around at this 3rd Target and no luck. Enter the code and it says they are in the stockroom again. I get another employee, and he punches in the code, goes on the radio and asks the backroom for a pull. Couple minutes later out comes a guy with a nice cardboard box w/ two of each of the exclusives in it. WOOOO! AND i bought one of each.


It looks like the Targets have them and either they are following the "soft shelve date," or they will gladly get them for you because the are not tools. Worth a shot if you have a Target near you.

 

Maybe this should go under the feedback topics, but for those picking these up, what's your opinion on the figure quality? The plastic on my Sunstorm feels extremely brittle (much more so than Starscream or Skywarp), and the joints are extremely stiff - so stiff that I'm constantly popping off the legs every time I try to move the hip joints. And the head is the complete opposite - it's so loose, it pops off every time I transform the thing. Shockwave is a better plastic, but various parts of mine are coated in a wet-looking varnish (overuse of glue, some paint-app gone wrong?). I'm seriously tempted to take both back for exchange, but want to know what other's figures are like before I do so.

 

Transformed my Sunstorm and his left leg was extremely stiff. The leg kept popping off. I would just be careful instead of returning them.
