Close up look at TF Credit card and Exclusive Cyclonus repaint announced.

A close up look at the TF credit card sponsored by Ganbo and the exclusive figure is only purchasable using the credit card.

It is also announced that the figure is a repainted Henkei! Henkei! Cyclonus figure and will be named Strafe.

Strafe's final color scheme is expected to be revealed on Monday, March 2, 2009 with the figure due in August of this year.

It is believed that the figure will become quite a rarity as it is very hard for foreigners (even those living and working in Japan) to get a Japanese credit card, and that many Japanese are reluctant to use cards (let alone make one explicitly to buy a Transformer).
This figure is predicted to be the hardest to come by among all Henkei! limited editions.

Great find zfeakye! Now I can only sit and watch helplessly as I'm not able to get a credit card from Japan to order it. I imagine this Cyclonus repaint might go for even more than Red Vardia Movie Starscream on the secondary market. :rip

Two bucks says BBTS will manage to convince their Japanese purchasing agent to apply for one and use it to obtain the figures at a high markup.

I'm not complaining- it's great that those interested will have a chance to own the figure. I'm just stating that it is likely to occur.

    Haha...The credit cards are cool.

I am a huge geek, but I don't think I could whip out a Transformers credit card for anything, ever.

By being a Japanese citizen living in Japan and applying for one in Japan in Japanese.

If you're not a Japanese citizen and live outside of Japan, forget it.

Gotta love them Japanese, always protecting themselves. We should learn from them.

I am also really tired of these $100 plus deluxe exclusives. I thought henkie seekers were too much, this will be ridiculous.

Well, I guess for those not too concerned about the figure but want a TF card here in the states get a Capital One card and upload an image in their card-lab. I can think of cooler images I'd rather see on a TF credit card anyway and that would be the route I would go to do it. I'm not trying to promote the company or advertise or any crap like that. I could care less about them but that's just how I would go about getting a cool looking custom card. I already have an unused, unloaded gift-card, all black with the grey Movie Autobot logo on the front. Ideally that's what I would like to use for a credit-card image. Well, actually I want the 'Con logo, but I didn't have a choice on the gift card and couldn't complain since the guy at the store didn't charge me for it once he saw I was a TF fan.

Hydra is taking pre-orders for Strafe...$100 a pop. I threw my name in the hat just for kicks. I personally would prefer a G2 Strafe deco, but I'm not holding my breath.

I’ve got this figure ordered and well, I do hope he looks cool once pictures are posted of him. I know I like Henkei Cyc, so they toy itself will be cool but the big question for me is what colors he’ll be in. That and even though I’m going to get this figure (only because he’s a Cyc repaint) I’ll say right away that I’m not too thrilled about these 100$+ exclusives. Because the price eats the budget REAL fast and even though there’s some months (I think) between these exclusives one hardly has time to get the cash for them (especially not when not being able to get a job... heh). But at the same time I suppose that if one wants these figures it’s just to try to look happy and pay because they risk being a lot more expensive later on.
