There, fixed the insult for you to community friendly. You are correct though, he does look more G1 colorish then his 1st movie incarnation. I like that one too though because he was so menacing looking. This one will be mine to keep my Megatron collection up to date. I really like the look of both modes. Looks like a winner!
How many movies will it take before they make Megatron right?!!! The leader class toy is ridiculous! Again were being slapped with the "hes vain so he does not need to get an earthly alternate mode". WTF! I know its crisis time et all but they (Hasbro) needs to come up with descent toys so fanboys can keep on buying toys and in return help the economy.
I was really skeptic on this design at first, but I'm really starting to like it The toy actually looks really good, but I want to see some out of package images now. I definitely think I'll be picking this one up
I know, I was just sitting here staring at the pics trying to contemplate what the point would be of that...Why would they have the face covered?...Is Megatron trying to hide from the media? Is he involved in some kind of public scandal where he was he caught with a underage protoform? what the hecks going on here? Seriously though, The figure does look prety cool, but I too actually have to say I'm a little put off by the bulkiness of the tank-mode. I mean after what we've seen of the ROTF Prime LC figure, I would think they could have got it a bit closer to the concept art for Megatron. Oh well...Unless you really hate non-earth modes,(Especially movie designed ones.) It's not a horrible altmode. At least in this case the bulkiness is more in tune with being a tank then something that's suppose to fly.
Wow, this is a giant improvement over the last movie Megatron design. At last, he finally resembles a recognizable vehicle! I'm also quite happy to see, like Optimus, Megatron will have speech. Hopefully Jetfire will have the same! I am slightly sad to see he has non-functional tank treads though. I wish they could have made those work. Light-up eyes sound great! Hopefully, this time though, he has a working neck, that's even more important than the tank treads! Best of all, this toy still has the extra sword! Seeing as Optimus has two as well, I'm still hoping for an Optimus vs. Megatron sword fight!
alright well I guess I'll jump on the "Megatron is back for rotf" band wagon now. The figure looks alot like the concept pitty they covered the head but I think u can get a peak at it if u look at the tank mode. Ugg hasbro why can't u cover up movie meg's head!? But he looks alright better than the first release I'll wait for more pics first. I wanted a leader fallen but the voyager is tall enough.
lol, Photoshop does not work that way. Unlike most watermarks, this one isn't just some faint text one could airbrush out, it's a solid block over a flat image. The only way to reveal the face is to have the original image without the watermark.
'has enough power to destroy him'? Megs had enough power to destroy Optimus in the first movie. It's the humans who fuck him up the most. Haha! So I have to say, this new Megatron looks less like a dinkis then he did in the first movie. He's still way too silver for my tastes. I'm glad to see he's got some black in him this time around. He has an arm cannon, (WHICH HE SHOULD HAVE HAD IN THE FIRST ONE) which is good. Not digging his cripple arm much. But all in all, still pretty bland, but it's an improvement. Maybe by the third movie they'll make a decent Megatron. Looks like my G1 Megatron will still be leading my movie cons onto the battle field once again. EDIT: Hahaha! I just noticed the box art of Megatrons face. It looks like he's about to be sick. Haha! I'm sorry, I had to LOL.
I did the math. According to my calculations we will need at least 56 Transformers movies before they figure out what they're doing with Megatron.
