Hello, I don't post here much, I'm much more of a lurker; but thanks to Roook's great Bumblebee screen grab I just noticed this, and thought to mention it. Please forgive me if it has already been mentioned.
Are these glyphs on Bumblebee's head here? I don't remember him having any in the first movie(only Prime and Megatron), but did he have these and I just didn't notice them, or will all the bots have these added tattoos in the new movie?

 

Farfetched! Its no more farfetched than robotic alien lifeforms that can change into vehicles coming to earth to look for a 4 storey magic cube that folds up to the size of a toaster that can give life to an xbox and drinks machine.
In fact I'd say thats more believeable.

Anyway he may have got rid of the original display SR 71 and taken its place but has still been on display for years

 

He looks like he is teleporting in, or at least moving VERY fast. The few frames before the "El Fallen es en fuego!" frame are kind of revealing about what is going on. I'll try to get some screens up, and I'll edit them into this post. Give me a few minutes.

Here are the first 8 frames of The Fallen *poofing* into sight...

Notice, that there is clearly nothing there in the first frame other then a lot of lightning or whatever. Then it seems that his feet actually move into place, as if he is landing really quickly. I have a hunch he is traveling to that spot from elsewhere, via that HUGE spark.

 

The glyphs are etched in yet the autobot symbol seems to be painted on.

Maybe the glyphs are more important...seeing at the allspark was covered in them

This is no trailer. This is 2 minutes of "Why you should see this movie."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the idea of the Twins landing in the middle of downtown Paris run counter to the earlier rumors/theories/evidence that they land in the middle of nowhere, and have to scan an ice cream truck because it's the only vehicle around?

 

No clue man. Personally, I believe the ice cream truck to be misinformation.

Who knows, I just thought it was interesting because if you look at Mudflaps eyes, it resembles Picasso's painting exactly and the thought of only 2 bots falling down into Paris gets you thinking.

Mudflap falls into the art museum and scans the painting?

Skids falls into the streets and see some rapper on the TV?

Both places happen to have their vehicle modes near by as well?

 

I would think landing in Paris would make more sense in respect to their Alt modes, considering smaller compacts are more popular in Europe.

I say the Fallen is teleporting. Frame by Frame you can see his feet coming down from mid air and landing in the desert.

Newbie here...I had to come out of lurker-mode for this...


did anyone notice that during Sam's pinning it almost sounds like that scream Megatron does in the first movie? Or am I imagining things?

 

It kinda looks like he makes an impact landing...the ground looks lower than where the soldiers are standing

I think he teleports Terminator style, what with the lightning and the crater and all.

 

I don't think the ice cream truck is misinformation. A couple of months back video of the ice cream truck split in two was found. Each half of the ice cream truck seems to be able to move and stand up independently, with the rear end spinning around all on its own. That seems like a complicated bit of engineering for something not in the movie.

I also have to say I don't find any resemblance to Picasso art that convincing. They just have goofy, funny looking, asymmetrical faces - Picasso doesn't hold a monopoly on that. I think that's just what they happen to look like, gold tooth and all.

Does that really matter? In the first move Optimus Prime landed at the same time a red and blue custom-painted Peterbilt drove by. Bumblebee managed to pass a Concept Camaro at the same time he was looking for an upgrade to his beat-up Camaro.

 

Has anyone noticed that Skorps is different. He's not made of chopper parts and his head is more bug/frenzy like. This is either another scorpanok or he's rescanned something and is someone elses partner bot.

 

lol. I swear I heard that too. I didn't want to mention it though since I wasn't sure. But yeah it sounds like a Megatron grunt or yell or something.
