Did anyone notice that the trailor showed only bots we've see in leaked images(set pics excluded)? Megatron(concept), Ravage(concept), Constructicon(toy), Arcee(toy), "Audi" decepticon(toy). I think bay purposely left out Soundwave because thats the one character everyone is dying to see portrayed more than any other bot. They should have shown at least one bot in robot mode that we haven't seen an image of. Jolt maybe?

 

You can't stay on the edge of your seat forever. They need to break up the intense action every now and then.

It was a teaser trailer. That's the point of teasers, if they showed everything you have no build up to the full trailer and or the movie.

 

Very true, but you also have to be careful that you don't over do it and hurt the flow or overall feel of the movie.

Don't know if this is too nerdy, but looked the picture the Blackout posted earlier and, well, traced the place thru flashearth. The bridge that gets destroyed at the end, seen from far above. Not quite oriental after all.

yea somebody claimed they use to live in that area when the trailor stills were posted. I don't remember what forum though. He included his own pic from a different POV.

Don't think this was discussed yet, but where do you guys think that punch Prime took was taking place? I'm guessing its at Sam's college. Maybe after the pretender gathers enough info on Sam and she calls the 'cons and then Prime and the gang discovers Megs was giving Sam a suprise visit. I think Prime underestimated Megatron's new form wich leads to that devastsating punch. (huh, listen to me, speaking as if i've already seen it.lol)

Funny thing is when this came on during the Superbowl my step-dad and my brother-in-law started looking at it like "WTF is this?" and half way through the trailor my Step-Dad says, "3 Million Dollars and they're showing somebody playing NINTENDO games?!"   Then my brother-in-law joined in making fun while trying to figure it out, then when the "Transformers" title came on he says, "oh it's a movie" and looked at me like, "Oops. Sorry dude".   (They know I love Transformers).

I was like, well I guess it looks like a Nintendo or Playstation game doesn't it? Cuz truth be told the first 5 seconds I had the same reaction.

I just checked it out again on the main tfw site and I have a worse reaction now than I did during the Superbowl. I don't like the look of every thing and the weird buffoon like trolly creature that was running, or the claws that seem to come out of nowhere and make knife sharpening noises. ******ed if you ask me. So I guess this movie won't be for me. I was really hoping for an improvement beings it's a sequal, but I guess that was stupid to hope for knowing how Bay operates.

I am sorry but if someone actually thought the trailer looked like a video game then you need to get your eyes checked, seriously.

 

I just noticed a G1 hommage in the recently release Teaser Trailer.


Right BEFORE the Audi transforms back into his car mode you can hear the G1 transformation sound.

Listen close though, you can JUST make it out. Lets hope THE BAY keeps it in the movie
