Some observation made possible thanks to the wonders of HD technology. The Excavator Constructicon's face matches that of the leaked toy. The Audi R8, which apparently has a face mask or a glowing orb for a face, is being chased by more than one bike bots. Is Starscream spitting/drooling on Sam? He looks more colorful and more embellished. Maybe he is, maybe it isn't. Perhaps the tats on the new deluxe toy has a meaning. Someone's foot and spindly fingers, not Starscream's like the trailer implied. Megatron? The Fallen? It looks rusty and worn... When the faceplate breaks, Prime leaks red hydraulic fluid. Prime looks beat up in what appears to be a one sided battle. Does this hint at a possibility of Prime's death? This part clearly shows the Excavator Constructicon's configuration. He has his wheels tandem, forming a motorcycle like setup, not a unicycle. The reason why it looks like he's on one wheel in some shots is because it is. Apparently, he can rotate his "body" while his head and his arms face one way. Crucially, this show also clearly shows that he is indeed a single Transformer based on a quarry excavator. Another shot of the Constructicon's face. This analysis was done using the 1080p trailer.
I'm curious why Arcee is chasing the Audi (let's presume a reformatted Barricade) Based off the color choices, it seems like the aqua color stuff takes place in China. In the shot where Mikaela and Sam's roommate (?) are looking in shock as she screams "Sam!" there appears to be some tank treads or old military equipment. Which suggests to me, two outcomes. 1) Sam is being tortured by Starscream/Megatron 2) Sam is kidnapped by Barricade. I'm leaning towards 2, because of Barricade's history with Sam, and the need for Arcee, etc to be chasing the Audi. The problem is, the China scene takes place near the beginning, right? And even so, I can't see Sam's roommate being there so early in the film. Add in how Mikaela and him get there in the first place. Anyways, just curious if there might be something to the similarly colored scenes. It'd be interesting if Sam was kidnapped and held prisoner inside of Barricade. The Autobots would have to be very careful not to attack Barricade to keep him safe. It'd put Sam and the Autobots in a helpless situation and could make for a fun scene.
This helps clear up the idea about the motorcycles in the back ground. And helps clear up that its not devestator
I think its definitely Megatron pinning Sam down. Waiting so long to take revenge on Sam. And What the hell is Starscream doing?
This is just my little theory: Prime isn't getting punched in the face, its Megatron kicking him in the head. If you look at the pic, you can see what looks like the tank treads on Megatron's legs, and it also looks like it could be Megatrons feet, plus it looks too big to be a hand. I mean, yeah, Prime gettin punched in the face is awsome, but Megs kicking him in the head, now that's just BA. http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attachment.php?do=fullview&attachmentid=13456 Note in these in the upper right corner what could be the tank treads on Megatrons legs. http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attachment.php?do=fullview&attachmentid=13457 http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attachment.php?do=fullview&attachmentid=13458 http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attachment.php?do=fullview&attachmentid=13460 http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attachment.php?do=fullview&attachmentid=13461 http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attachment.php?do=fullview&attachmentid=13461
I think Sam is held down by Starscream and possibly Megatron in Philadelphia based on the clothes he is wearing. He's wearing the same black shirt and jeans in this scene as he is wearing when he first meets Alice near Bumblebee in car mode. The scene's definitely in Philadelphia.
At first not a big fan of the uni-wheele bot but now since I saw him in action he'll be in my closet of movie collection. It'll be awesome if in the game you could play as him on like a time base level where you have so much time to get to certain amount of check points while helicopters and autobots are trying to stop you.
you know the wheeler bot/constructicon I was not to keen on at first but the sheer immensity of it is to much to hate making it pretty interesting overall. One thing was irking me about the design though and then it hit me Has anyone else noticed how untransformed this constructicon is. I means you can at all points see the entire housing of the outside on the shoudlers of the beast just like with the toy. Even the arms look just like the crane and only the hands seperate the shovel end into fingers. Dare I even say it but the transormation is very blocky which denotes a G1 ish nod if anything. This after all the blocky transforms wont work conversations lol. While im no fan of the first movie I have never thought the bots overall have sucked and it looks like the new ones are all mostly wins mudflap and skids aside. It will be intersting to see how the rest of the Constructicons end up looking and what Devs will ultimately be. Consider the size of this one of the 7 and my feeling is devastator wont have legs. if anything tank treads or he just walks on his hands and has nothing below the hips. Just because being that big with so much upper body two bots for legs would not support that frame
I'd have to imagine that with the complete transformation of everything on the excavator, he'd only wind up even bigger, which would be awesome, but even worse for Prime. Plus, the sections on his shoulders are pretty much just control rooms and such, with not much mass to them beyond walls and maybe a console of some type.
Or... It can be Devastator's fist. Have you thought about that? ;-) But lot of fingers are pointing to Megatron. But where could they be, though? It seems quite forest-y where Prime is getting beat up.
