Amazon will ship to the US, but be careful - you may need a Japanese address to get the Lije (Mirage) toy. If you're not interested in working through Hydra, Fantofan might be a place to check out. On occasion they have been known to facilitate such things...

 

It's up for pre-order on BBTS. I have it pre-ordered but there's a good chance I'll pussy out come March.

Ratchet Emergency Green, which was a book exclusive from the same publisher, was 5200yen while regular Encore Ratchet was 3000yen. So I assume the sellers are basing their preorder price on that. $90 is about 8100yen as of now.

Actually 90 bucks ain't so bad. I think Bodhar is about 108 shipped and black gear is about 109 shipped. BBTS is actually competitive this time around.

 

Actually, I am doing $105 shipped, but this is assuming the toy costs the same as the Emergency Green Ratchet. As far as I can see the price won't be set for this figure until Feb 14th.

 

If Bohdar's includes the book, that's not a bad deal. 5400 + 2100 = 7600 yen for the book and the fig.

$105 is ~9384 yen (as of right now), so that leaves ~1784 yen = around $20 for shipping and "profit".

He may be doing it at cost, considering he has to pay shipping for the toy to him, then to you.

Hydra's $108 shipped for the toy is 9652 yen right now. Which means 4252 yen in "shipping" and profit. Probably around the USD price of the book as profit. Not all that bad  

 

I think neither Hydra or Bodhar is including the book.

 

No we aren't, but I think we should all wait 2 more weeks when the book comes out so we all know for sure how much the toy actually costs. Everyone is assuming it's 5,000 Yen ($55) per figure, but I don't see a price on the page. So it could me more or less. So I am preaching patience for just a couple of weeks.

 

You ordered 50 books and you're not sending them with the toy? Egads, man.

Anyways - I'm just trying to help with the calculations. I already ordered my own two copies of the book from Amazon!
