Why? What reason would the main human cast want to get INTO the enemy? I mean the ones the size of toasters are trying to kill them, why would they want to get into one that can crush them? Seriously the ONLY Decipticon I can see getting a passenger would have "Alice" as the driver, and the vehicle would HAVE to be a Earth-Soundwave (concept truck).

 

I think this is quite an awesome figure! I'll take it! I give credit to the engineers. Love it fantastic! I'll get a different driver though...

I believe another logical two-pack of a Human Driver figure and scale Transformer would be the NEST trooper and jeep vehicle.

There's been no indication the NEST vehicles transform on screen, but I feel they'll get a transforming toy representation regardless like Landmine from the first line. It seems likely.

Like others have said, if it is Alternator scale I will definitely be getting this. I also like the boxier look of this, even if its not completely movie accurate. I've been missing Alternators so bad, I would love for them to revive a 1:24 line like this!

 

I think it's a shame that they did not give him 2 hands. Thats one of the flaws with the ultimate bumblebee. I don't see how having the weapon there instead of a hand makes him better than just having the weapon be separate.

 

What the heck, i just noticed the Official photo of the Deluxe BB toy from Empire is not even the proper one they will use in the toy line. Well it's a minor detail but i wonder why they used this toy instead of the better painted one with better detailing. Look at the Chevy logo on the Empire picture, it's silver/unpainted and the stripes finish before the front bumper crack. Compare these two:

The one you refer to, and the one Empire posted, are of the preview figure, not the Human Alliance Bumblebee seen in this thread, which is significantly larger and an all new mold.

I do hope we at least get a swappable hand for the right arm on this figure. I can see how the look can be unbalanced without it. However it is still an incredible figure, I hope this is the first of many.

 

I'm lovin the vehicle mode!   It looks like Ultimate Bumblebee miniaturized. Though, the mold used for robot mode could have been better.....

I still feel like they could have done this before. I mean, if there really are going to be 30+ new transformers in this movie, then why didn't they just MASTERPEICE ( by 'masterpeice' i just mean, give 'em the details that we are seeing now ) whatever they had to during 2008 and sell us only NEW characters this year.

In these hard economic times, do they really expect us to by the new and improved bumblebee, optimus and starscream toys.. AND still have enough change to buy the new characters ?



P.S. if jazz DOES return in this movie, I hope he gets a 'proper' toy too. I personally feel jazz's transformation was much to simple for them to have messed up his deluxe 2007 figures so much.



The wheels are clearly at his ankles, yet for some reason they further complicated it and put the wheels at the back of his foot instead. Why ?
