Yep, and I personally like them. He also has some on the right front end of his semi alt-mode. Though unlike Starscream, who apparently will have his tats in the movie, I don't think Prime will be sporting these. Though he does already have someon his head.

 

I don't like Starscream's Bio at all....
First off, Intelligence 4? This is Starscream, he's cocky, not dumb. And the movie comics certainly write him as more intelligent than that.
And from his Bio it sounds like he would want to bring Megatron back... umm... no?

I know this is "movie" Starscream, not G1, and "different character" could explain all of the above, but it just seems silly. I know they've wavered from purely G1-inspired characters, but if Starscream's going to be a centric character in this movie, I'd much rather see a more G1 'Screamer.

 

Starscream is really looking like a retooling of the existing voyager mold to me at this point. Pretty sure it is.

And sounds from his bio that Megs gets unleashed near the end? (aka to fight the Fallen).

 

Protoform Starscream had an Intelligence of 8, so maybe he landed on his head when he got to Earth and permanently damaged his CPU.

 

I am 100% absolutely sure that this is a completely new mold. It's way too different from the original to be just a retool. It does look similar, but that's because it's the same character, and based off of the same design. Somewhat similar to the situation between the two Animated Deluxe Optimus Prime figures. They at first seem to be the same mold, as there are some similarities betweent hem, but they are obviously two compltely different molds.

 

Prime looks good, I like the design of his roof and Starscream looks to have improved in the chicken leg department.

Yup, I figured this was a new mold from the start.......no doubt..... plus he has landing gear!

 

If you've read the movie comics then you'd know this character doesn't hate Megatron to the extent that stereotypical G1-style Starscreams do, I'd say he resents him and his insane lust for power. I figure Starscream would be pragmatic enough to resurrect Megatron if the situation warranted it.

Animated already does G1 Starscream. Why do Yet Another G1 Starscream?

 

Starscream is interesting but I doubt it'll be a purchase for me. Haven't they repainted that crappy Voyager Prime mold enough already?

Seriously, if anybody could redo it in a proper way, I would be gratefull.

 

The only way that I would ever buy that Voyager Prime mold if it was painted not as the usual Prime, like Night Watch and just rename him. Or if he was a different character.

I'm getting tired of people saying that the new Starscream is a retool. It was said it was a new mold several times but people keeps on saying it is a retool. And I bet people are also tired of correcting them.

Starscream Intelliigence was a 4 in the first movie.

Man, the engineering on this toy looks to be something really amazing. The Starscream toy is going to have a really fun transformation this time around!

I might just forgive Hasbro for not making him a Leader-class (yes, I realize that NOT all the characters can be Leaders).

The biography and tech specs made me laugh though...bring Megatron back?...

That doesn't quite seem right. I can't see how the legs are going to both swing out and all the way around the wings on the opposite sides (left and right) of his body. It looks more like they flip as one pieceup and over. There are no visible hings on his bot-mode wingtips.

The Prime mold is nice and all but couldn't we have gotten it re-painted as maybe Motormaster or Scourge? Same with the Leader figure...I like the new-ish bot mode but I'm not shelling out $50 Canadian when it transforms into the same exact truck as my Movie One figure. I want a good and worthy re-paint to pry open my wallet, and not just making it blue with silver flames either. I hates them dang flames, hates them! How about a sleek black with silver scallops instead?
