I'm just wondering if they're taking a cue from Lucas and his '3D' Clone Wars series...

I'd honestly rather see more overdubbed Japanese crap than a series based on the movie...

Seeing as this was the only TF toy line in the past 7 or so years that made me want to get the toys, id be pretty PO's if they are really going to cancel it. Also have the ever stated how many episodes season 3 is going to be? My other question i guess is, is just because the may cancel the show, does that mean they have to cancel the comics?

    LONG LIVE ANIMATED CRACK!

Just doesn't make sence.... 99% of the posts here are upset to see it end, including myself. Is hasbro trying to turn it's record sale years into crap, like some kind of social experiment in alienating customers. They can't be that dumb.....its probably something someone said taken out of context. If it is taken of the air, I for one won't buy any more TF's out of protest. Hit them where it hurts until they learn to listen to us..........DOWN WITH THE MAN!!!!!!!

Most likely 13 like the others. But it certainly seems like they are going to try to cram a LOT of new characters into that.

*sigh* I suppose it had to happen sooner or later. no show lasts forever anymore :(

Everything is always being redone, cloned, or replaced with something else.

To be honest in this day and age anime is taking over the world.

Which is why shows like TFA never last.

GRRRR I HATE ANIME!!!! (well not all Anime, but most of it.)

Wow. Sucks, but what will be will be. Hopefully, if season three is the end, I hope we get a few more really awesome toys and what not. Also, I do have hope that it might continue into an all new series ala Ben 10 (Ben 10: Alien Force) & Justice League (JLU).

The only thing I can hope is that we don't see another horribly dubbed, dumbed down Anime geared towards an audience with a mentality lower then a two year old.

I really hope this isn't true, the show has so much potential and i love how well they developed each character. Why is it always the more awesome, and awe-inspireing shows that get killed while all the ******ed, mind-numbingly stupid shows get more air time?

Yeah, hope if it ends, it becomes another "sequel series" instead.

But I loves this show. Don't wanna see it end.

I love TFA, but 3 seasons seems like a good length.

    This is an OUTRAGE!!!

I have been a Transformers fan (like many of you) since their conception, and I can clearly state that, while the animation/art is very "Teen Titans-ish", this series BY FAR give the original series the most love and references. They're plastered EVERYWHERE! Now I'm not saying that I havn't enjoyed some of the other TF incarnations (with Beast Wars being one of my faves), I havn't LOVED a Transformers show anywhere near as much as I LOVE TFA. I see so many great things that have yet to take shape in the TFA universe that there is simply no way that they will cover all the bases in the 3rd season alone.

Look, I know that they market cartoons primarilly to children, and they want to change things up and get kids on to "the next big thing" to make more money on merchandise, but this show has captured the hearts of MANY old school Transformers fans, as well. What about them? What are the odds that the next Transformers show will pay homage to the original show/characters? Not likely.

And speaking of merchandise, I personally LOVE the TFA action figures! I have all of them (Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader), and proudly display them. For the most part, the toys are really awesome, with great bot and alt modes, cool transformations, and fantastic styling (Ok, ok, I know. The Jet Twins/Safeguard aren't all that great, but for the most part, the toys ROCK!) I think of all the G1 characters that I would love to get an Animated version of (The new Perceptor triple-changer, Wheeljack, and Hot Rod/Rodimus are up at the top).

My friends, the bottom line is this. The are FAR WORSE shows out there that get a longer run than 3 measley seasons. I prey this isn't happening, and that TFA gets a LONG, HEALTHY RUN!!! =D

It is potentially bad news, but it wouldn't leave me heartbroken. I love TFA, but also the Movie and I'm sure anything that comes after.

It would be worse if it was because it was failing in the eyes of Hasbro/CN. That said, I hope what we have left is kickass, and here's hoping for much more of the same even afterwards!

Look at the big picture here. There's global depression. Global. In an economy where you can only afford the essentials, don't you think that toy manufacturers are going to be hit hard too?

If this is true its because of the economy. I believe it is.

99& of posts here being upset aren't going to change anything. I could find the same number of people as there are 99% of all the posts in this thread, have them individually post how much they want their jobs back that were cut out by the economy but guess what? Their jobs aren't coming back.

And seriously, us not buying the toys from them? Not gonna hurt them. At all. Seriously.

They said they'd keep the show around as long as it was profitable.

With all the Animated toys I see sell out with the swiftness here where I live, I find it hard to believe Hasbro hasn't made a ton of money off the Animated line.

Heck we can't even keep Blurrs in stock around here where I live. I also see wave 3 and 4's selling out fast, despite being out for a good while.

    If this rumor is true *Wish I hope not. ;_;* I'll just be heart broken over the lose of potential stories and characters that could of been made if we could of had more than just 3 seasons of TFA. ;_;

How dare you be so logical at a time of crisis like this. jobs? This means little when we are faced with a tragedy such as this. :)

Doesn't make any difference to me, I'm sure the franchise will continue and that's the main thing I care about.

Sorry to the people who really liked it if it doesn't continue though.

It's really just an area by area thing though. Around here EVEYthing Animated shelfwarms. I'm sure Hasbro would rather put their efforts into the live action toylines since the first Movie line was proven (or so it seemed) to be a cash cow for them.

if this is true it would suck so much. The main reason it would suck is because if they take it off the air they will put something really shitty in it's time slot

    :(  please don't be true...
