I just picked up the twins in San Antonio. I went to the wal mart outside 410 on Vance Jackson this morning. There were 2 boxes of the twins. I purchased one and left one. That was at around 8:30. I would have posted earlier but this sight was down for maintenance. I guess they are tinning San Antonio. The twins are cool and from the comic they should be really fun and interesting due to their powers (Have to read and see) beyond just being Safeguard. The only thing I dislike is that the safeguard combination has no shoulder rotation so you are forced to only bend at the elbow. They have so many bend points between all the transformation I guess this would not have been feasible. Safeguard is cool, just a little reminiscent of the G1 rigidity. There would really be no way to make the Safeguard head more either which is straight ahead. Over all I would say this is a must have just for the creativity and if you are an adult who like to watch with children this would be a fun one to have. I think that the transformation is a bit advanced for even a 5 year old. Not due to complexity, but due to a child's manual dexterity in manipulation the pieces. Just be ready to fix and transform this figure A LOT for your child.
Went by Super Target on Westhiemer parkway. They had 3 or 4 of the Jetfire/Jestorm. They also had some of the new Universe figures. They had Shadow Megatron and for anyone into GI Joe they had the Mighty Muggs there as well. Also they had Shockwave but I passed on him. They have alot of toys on clearance found the reissue Optimus that comes with the DVD and comic that was like 60 bucks it was on clearance for like 48 passed on him cause I needed something else. Right now I'm still looking for Blurr.
Jeez, I cant believe Dinobot and Smokescreen are turning up while I have yet to see Hound, Starscream and Cyclonus!!! ARRG! I did finally see a few Cheetors (Walmart at I-10 East and Market) which I DONT WANT. They also had the twins there and at the Walmart on Beltway 8 East and Wallisville.
Awww man. Everytime I go on vacation. Last time it was the Deepspace Starscream clearance. This time they finally put the stealth lockdown / rescue racthet on clearance. Somebody cleaned the Target out good because there were about six of each last thursday. =(
Just came back from two Targets. 121 & Custer - they had two each of the new Universe Deluxes(Smokescreen & Dinobot) and two Leader Class Animated Shadow Blade Megs. One dollar off the Universe Deluxes($8.99). McDermott & 75 -Saw the new Animated two-pack with Jetcrumbs and Rainmaker...or whatever their names are. The two jets. Saw that their Universe deluxes were marked $7.79....WTF?! But they didn't have the new ones, so I guess it doesn't matter...
Walmart off in Gardenridge (I35 & 3009) had about 5 sets of the twins and 2 Blurrs, 1 Swindle and 2 Blazing Lockdowns.
no sign of the jet bros in conroe area went by target and walmart only seen a shadow blade megatron a wallie world.
Bryan Target had 2 smokecreens and 2 jet brother sets earlier today. College Station Walmart had 2 smokescreens and 2 dinobots as well.
I picked up 1 TFU Smokescreen, Dinobot, and Starscream at the College Station Walmart yesterday. I got 1 of the 2 Jetstorm/Jetfire 2 packs at Bryan Target last night. Bryan Target still had Smokescreen when I was there. Thanks for the heads up as always bro!
If anyone missed out on earlier univ/anim deluxe waves, check your local HEB's they still have older waves clogging the shelves and still at the sale price of $7.98/ea.
Hey guys, I was at the Target on Fairmont Parkway in Pasadena and they had 4 Roadbuster Ultra Magnus's! I wasn't able to grab one because of funds, but when I left at 3:00pm there were 4 on the shelf. Maybe someone in the area can stop by and grab one to confirm my sighting...
Went by Super Target on Westhiemier Parkway they had Dinobot and have some of the Marvel crossovers only ones that were missing were Smokescreen and the Captain America crossover. They also had atomic lugnut they had two of him which probably confirms that they had Wreck Gar. Wal-Mart by Katy Mills had some Blurr's, Swindle's, and Blazing Lockdown's. I got me one Blurr.
I scored Wreck Gar at the Denton Target off of 35 yesterday while grocery shopping. They also had Atomic Lugnut... left him on the shelf sence I already had the original. The re-paints aren't doing to much for me for this line.
went out on my hunt today and scored at the walmart at 242 and 45 with a dinobot and got the last jet bros pack there. i then went on to the target off of the beltway and fairmount parkway and the 4 roadbuster ultra magnus figures reported earlier were still there. Got one and 3 still left on the shelf as of 3 p.m. today. still looking for blue streak, inferno, atomic lugnut, vector prime, cybertron scourge repaint(think it's bruticus).
this is garbage! just found out that one of the jetbros. i got earlier today has a missing window on jetfire! now i must return him and hope to find another one!
Had the exact same problem. Luckily I had no trouble finding a new one....but I have seen the same problem about half the time I have spotted the set.
Im up here in Roundrock until Wednesday afternoon, on business. Found 2 Roadbuster Magnus' at the Target off 35 & 45. Had to leave them as I was short on money.
