Ok, seriously. Whoever did that video needs to calm the hell down before they stroke out. I had anxiety watching it. As far as the toy goes, I'll wait until I see it myself but I'm on the fence with it.

i know i'm going to contradict myself here, but i like the red, and I think he should be kickback. thats the frist thing I thought of. but i could easily see this being barricade. the door wings, skinny legs, and that round thing that's painted silver (which i think is supposed to be a cheated wheel in robot) reminds me of his blade weapon.

Did you even think it was Barricade in the first place? No. You read some other person's thought and it grew to be a small rumor and now you believe it. It doesn't mean its confirmed, so don't assume anything from JUST seeing the few unofficial photos of the toy. Like I said before, only time can tell. Or less you have proof, which I doubt.

 

Awesome car mode, incredible robot mode, but I also think the red ruins it a bit.

If he's not Barricade, I don't know who he can be.

 

And there's no proof that it is't Barricade; so dude, calm down. It's not like it's that big a deal.
Some of us think it might be him, some think it isn't. Like you said, we'll just have to wait and see.

 

What's with the blurry, clumsy transformation video. If you have the product and want to show it off, you should actually demonstrate it instead of waving it around and fumbling around with it so fast that no-one can tell what's going on. This is a transformation video, not a race.

 

Not to mention that, judging by the amount of times parts would just dangle around and the guy would simply readjust them into whatever different random configuration he wanted, this toy is STILL mistransformed.

That's what happens when you rush.

 

Leg design, with the tiny little feet, just looks...bleh?

 

I bet my a** that this is Barricade with new car upgrade,as nice as the car is I feel its
not worth buying to just get a different alt mode.So this is a total pass for me.

Clarification, Cyber Scream, I disagreed with your theory that Barricade had no reason to reformat. I never said it was Barricade for sure....only said that it would make sense to be him based on the knowledge that we have. But, back in the 1300's, it made sense that the world was flat based on the information that they had, or lack thereof, and we all know how that turned....completely wrong. I agree with you and everyone else, time will confirm.

 

I hope it's not Barricade, but all signs are pointing towards him reformatted  

 

A couple of things:

I wonder if this character, whoever he ends up being, is coloured accurately according to their screen colours, 'coz I remember Michael Bay saying something in the first TF movie commentary about shooting Red - i.e. it looks like ass, which is why Prime wasn't mostly red.

The second is my $0.02 on the Barricade issue - maybe it's a dodgy attempt to hide the plot hole from the first movie where he effectively disappears at the end. He simply reformatted once it was clear that the 'cons were losing, and made his escape.

*shrug* we won't know until the movie comes out. No point getting worked up about who's right and who's wrong.

 

Well, the red parts are more than likely CGI, so I doubt this particular decepticon would have the "shooting red" problem.

Surely this has GOT to be mistransformed? The kibble on the back looks horrendous. It looks like it should all fold down to the lower back and even the figure out more. And the 2 protruding window bits on the shoulders? Easily broken off during play. Surely the character in the movie doesn't look so brittle and spindley?

 

Is it just me but oddly enough the head sculpt looks like Laserbeak and the matching color scheme.
