OK, guys...I need your help here. I've never done a repaint before, but, looking at Cybertron Brimstone the other day, I decided that he'd make a wicked Swoop.

So now I'm left with zero experience in repainting and a great idea. Is this even doable? Has anyone tried it yet?

I don't have an original Swoop to reference from (unfortunately), so I'm not sure how big of a size difference there is (if I use Reprolabels).

Also, can't decide whether to use the comic/toon deco or the toy deco (which vary wildly). Any suggestion here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I doubt much of the reprolabels would look right, but just painting it in Swoop colors wouldn't nessisarily require you have the toy. There are plenty pics out there that show both bot and alt modes. That's really all you'd need to see which colors to use where. The same thing is true about cartoon images. I'd find three or four pics of each and save them to your computer. Then just print those pics out or do the painting in front of your computer. Also, you may not need to use all of the colors or even use different shades. Just start trying thing until you get it to look like you wnat it.

Swoop sounds like a good idea. I wanna see a repaint of Brimstone as BW Terrorsaur too.:thumb  (tv show colors)

Swoop would be cool yes it is a good idea. As Cataclism1 said Terrorsaur (show colours) would be cool. I plan on making a Terrorsaur out of Brimestone when he comes out in OZ.

    Looks like Terrorsaur.

    Swoop is mainly blue.

Terrorsaur is a much better choice. Swoop is kinda dull. Plus we already got his upgrade in Energon whcih was just as good as the Terashaver(Brimstone? PFF) mold.

The first thing I thought of was Terrosaur too...but I was thinking toon version Swoop...for a toy accurate Swoop that's a fantastic digibash! That really revs me up for doing a real one!

VP...think you'd be willing to do a show/comic accurate bash for me? It'd be great if I could have a visual to work off of.
