Has anyone here sold custom repaints or kitbashes? Or maybe even taken requests? How much would a straight repaint of decent quality of an Alternator go for? Is there an interest in buying these, or is everyone who cares enough to want them painting them himself? The reason I'm asking is that I'm planning to repaint one myself, and I'm getting a spare one in case I want an extra to sell.
I buy repaints if the price is right Ive seen some place them on Ebay but they are heavily modified ones which go for a pretty Penny! I did get a Sileverstreak with a repainted Black hood for $22 plus shipping which character are you doing? As I want an alt done for me too.
I bought some dyed LoCs from IG here a little while ago. I also try to make some stuff myself (though I'm just starting, and don't think I want to do alts, at least not yet). If I buy something or not depends on how cool it is and how hard it is to do. The LoCs were dyed and it was much easier to buy them than try to dye them myself. My Hot Swipe and evil Sideswipe though are easy and self done. I've seen some custom seekers go for a fair amount on ebay.
