Customs: Restoring Chrome

    Anybody know a decent looking way to restore chrome? I've tried chrome spraypaint, but it doesn't look good.




    BTW, I'm SURE this has been discussed, but I couldn't find any threads about it ... sorry :p

    Hmmm, sounds like it might work ... but I'm looking to do large rounded pieces on Galvatron. Wonder if this foil has issues with that.

    One thing I use on rubbed chrome edges is a "Pilot" silver paint marker, available at hobby shops. It's not as shiny as chrome, but for something like the edges of G1 Kickback's wings (which I just did), it really blends in very well on rubbed edges. You can't tell it's been painted unless you look REALLY close.

    If the area is larger, I'm not sure how good it would look.
