Aw shit!! I should of said chest plate not okay well you know what I was talking about. Huh I see on using Energon Barricade, so those parts were just to see how you can customize what he'll look like. Man, thats funny about the chest plate hanging on by a piece of tape   . but all in all its wow.

Also what did you use to make the concrete barrel for Barricade?

 

My RID UM is in parts so I did'nt know what part of the body it was but looking at the pic, notice the knees! As for the barrel, it's from a FastLane construction set.
The small figs are also from it and are pretty much in scale with devastator.
As for the wings, like I said, they are from G1 KO devastator.

offhand, is it a matte or semigloss or gloss finish spray?

 

It's gloss but once blackwashed and a matte clear added, it does'nt look gloss at all. Even if it says "fast dry" I usually leave my parts to dry for about 24 hours before touching them again 'cause as much I want to leave some sig on my original customs, fingerprints are not recommended.

 

This is one of the best customs i have ever seen. Simply amazing, it looks better than any devastator statue that i've seen, yet still tfs.

He was more difficult to paint due to paint chipping.
Still have some touch ups to do around the shoulder mounts.
Modified it's original head to get more of the G1 feel to it.

I'm trying to work out hands for my version of this guy, hate the claws, and when the rest of the team has hands he should too. I'm dreading painting him though, You did an incredible job, covering all that purple with a light green is murder.
