Minor/Repaint: TFTM Ironhide G1 Style

    Hey guys!

    Here's another one I was working on. I bought the Offroad Ironhide and was not very satisified with the blue color scheme so I decided to give him a G1 style paint job. Hope you guys like it!

    I have a bad habit of drifting from one project to another before completion. But I did get the vehicle mode finished, still working on the robot mode. C&C's welcome!

    UPDATE Oct.04/08..Finally got around to posting some robot mode pics..I tried to keep the G1 feel and kept the color scheme as true as I could, but found it a little bland in the legs. Oh well!:D

    Ooh, that's a really nice red, and it fits the truck pretty well.
    I'll point out, just in case you hadn't spotted it yet, that it looks like the winscreen wipers are still blue.

    The yellow stripe looks great, too. Is that tape, masked off, or hand painted..?

    Thats really nice and clean, wish they would have released him in that scheme to compliment rescue ratchet.

    Very nice work there man I can tell you spent alot of time on it can't wait to see the robot mode.

    LOL..I missed that little detail..before I move on to the robot mode I will paint them flat black. The yellow stripe,I cheated on a bit. It is actually a real car detail pin stripe I bought at Canadian Tire.

    Very nice. Between this and Sab's, I've decided my Ironhide demands a repaint!

    ...eventually.
