I've been bothered by the current '08 BB's weapon. It wasn't movie accurate at all! So I've taken it apart. Added pieces of the Robot Replica weapon (accurate) and added pieces of pens and wire. You can see how the weapon slides over BB's arm. When attached it looks like it's a part of his arm like it is in the movie.

I've modded his head too. It looks a bit hollow now but it will look awesome when it's painted.

I'm looking to mix up some yellow for him. Anyone who can show me the right direction on mixing some yellow?

I've got loads of enamels to my disposal so please no warhammer paints.

    Thanks in advance

that's a tough one, though I'd recommend starting with a yellow base. the brighter the better. look for Testors Chrome yellow. to that you might add 1 part red and 1 part white to about 30 parts yellow.

Thanks. I use mostly Revell and humbrol. The only humbrol yellow I have is 154 and is a flat :(

I'll have to pick up some new paints this saturday!

    Awesome gun mod!
I used a Testors yellow. It's already a very close match. Anything I tried to mix ended up too different.

thanks for the kind words! I'll be picking up some new paints tomorow morning. (including some flat black)

I'm really getting the hang of this customizing thing. Styrene, putty, paints. It's a great hobby.
