Sweet. I might concider doing something similar instead of my origional plan for a Classics Cyclonus. What TF is that head from? Also, what paints/dyes did you use on him?

That looks like the origonal, E Storm Jet, head just with new, ear, pieces.

What ever you used to color that looks great. It doesn't seem to rub off on the moving pieces. Great Job! Please give us some details and larger pictures.

I've never liked that mold, but you make it look awsome. Great job on the paint and I'm as curious as everyone on how you made nightstick. Great work.

 

It's all paint. My first time painting by brush actually (since my very first repaint 4 years ago when I first started customizing and turned out horrible). Didn't turn out as bad as my very first repaint this time.

I actually stumbled upon the idea while trying to figure out how I can make Overlord out of Energon Stormjet and Energon Star Saber

Hadn't thought about it but perhaps now that you mention it.

Head is just a modified head of Energon Stormjet. Paints used:
Testors Acryl Blue (which turned out blueish/purple which worked out nicely)
Testors Acryl Gray
Testors Acryl Plum
Testors Acryl Red (for red accents)
Model Master (testors) flat black (for landing gear)
Model Master (testors) cobalt blue for front wing accents

I must say that is the best Cyclonus I have seen yet. I didn't realize it was Jetstrom at first. Great Job! I wish Hasbro would do something like this.

WOW. I woulda never thought E-StormJet would make such a terrific Cyclonus! FANTASTIC work!!

 

Looks great. I've had an extra Stormjet waiting for me to make him into Cyclonus for a while now (along with many, many, many other bashes that I probably won't get to for years). Guess great minds think alike. I've always felt that that mold was an almost perfect update of the original Cyclonus toy. Great work.

That looks incredible.

But unless you have altered the way it transforms completely-

There is only one way to say this - it's still the storm jet mold.

And that mold SUCKS. The worst transformer since wheelie.

 

Sad but true.  

Jetstorm makes a pretty good Superion body, so mine pretty much never disconnects from the other Aerialbots. I forget how awkward the figure is sometimes.

But this custom still looks great!
