Awesome, I should be getting mine in soon. It's fun having these to fill in the space between now and June 26.

 

If you ask me he is getting this from all the info leaked since june. The twins fighting each other was mention on the call sheet. The rest of his info was leaked on Transformerslive blog aswell. The whole Megatron not being in the movie just doesn't make sense. Why would you make a toy of a new mold for a character that could have been saved for part 3??? Pretty much all the character who got fast action battlers were in the movie or repaints. I call the Megatron not being in the movie bluff.

 

I agree, I dont see how there can be a Transformers movie without Megatron. Even if he is only in it for a short period of time. Maybe some tidbits will be revealed in some of these comics...

Pretty much from what I can tell. He's 'blacked out' in the few frames he is in, but the blue orbs and his red visor are clearly visible.

 

Well Wreckage, Arcee and ''that red car'' had toys and werent in the first movie so yes Megatron could only be a toy.. sadly..

 

But did Arcee, Wreckage and that red car have FAB figures?? No
The only non movie figures to get FAB were repaints of movie characters.
I doubt very seriously Bay and Hasbro would waste a good design of Megatron for a toy.

 

Then dont just sit there! Post the bloudy pictures man!

you can order the trade paperbacks through borders, i can't find anywhere that stocks individual issues in sydney at the moment though. they say most of it goes to melbourne.

How'd Frenzy end up on Mars, decapitated?

 

Frenzy's body was probably aboard Starscream's ship. Odds are Screamer was probing it for information.

 

Well Frenzy got decapitated during the first movie. During the Reign of Starscream comics (after going back to find Barricade) Starscream went back to the dam and recovered Frenzys body. He took it back to Cybertron to use the data he (Frenzy) had recovered to try to build another Allspark. I wont get in to it, but after a battle that involved a space bridge, Frenzys body ended up on Mars with Starscream.

These prequel comics are good reads and fill in a lot of stuff between the two movies.

No problem. How'd you translate what Soundwave was saying?

 

There's a pic of Frenzy and the number of glyphs matched his name. For a second, I thought the shadow was Soundwave and that Frenzy attached to his arm. So, I looked at the top area which had a missle like attachment (now Frenzy's neck) and I thought that's gotta be Ravage based on the toy.

I checked the letters, and Ravage fit, but the first letter didn't match with the F in Frenzy, so I dropped it.

From there, just substituting the letters, F R E N Z Y wherever I found a matching glyph. Two calls out pointed to a missing head and the left arm, so I guessed DAMAGE, which went with the MATCH FOUND stuff.

Basically when I ran out of letters I started substituting remaining letters of the alphabet that hadn't been used at that point and checked to see what words made sense.

Anyways, I thought Soundwave was damaged and he was looking for compatible parts to repair himself with, so I tried something that would match the picture.

Turns out he was doing the CSI thing, analyzing what happened.

Anyways, great issue, aside from the forced All Spark fragment thing that the story needed to move forward.
