and the viso may only be in his cybertronian form, if that slab is ancient, he could look slightly different. There are more similarities than differences I think...

 

probably the fallen or devastator is in this pic. just focus and you can see two heads in the middle. one looks like it is on the crotch and a head on the what looks like a chest. the head on the chest looks more like the poster head. so what do you think?

good observation, the face definetly resembles the toy packaging, however the face on the poster only has 2 eyes...the supposed "fallen" from the comics has four

hmmm...thats interesting, but that guy might not know anything to do with the movie poster

doesnt really matter as the toy packaging was probably rendered seperatly

this is untrue...only a handful of decepticons look like the decepticon logo

 

I think it could potentially be Jetfire actually. They said he was a geriatric bot and this guy looks old an weathered...it could be before he took an earth mode. Look at the whiskers on the poster image and on the toy. The red eyes seem similar. You can't see a jaw so it is hard to tell and in the reformatted mode he might have an altered head shape...but it looks pretty similar. He could be taking revenge against the decepticons for abandoning him or something...

 

Maybe the eyes are behind the visor or something. That large 'lighter yellow' piece thats behind the glowing eyes in the comic cover I posted looks somewhat like Sounwave's visor on the toy, so maybe the 'eyes are within it. I dunno, i just noticed some similarities, just thought i'd throw it out there for kicks.

Sorry to say, your comparisons don't really "reveal" anything. Outside of the eye angles and their color, I see nothing similar between the two.

 

I would like it to be the Fallen, but most likely Megatron(Galvatron)
