That reminds me how much Bandai needs to make an MG Hy-Gogg. Damn that's an evil looking amphibious mech.

Cynicist, that's an awesome haul! A little too light on MGs for my taste, but nevertheless has to be a blast to assemble.

IronhideTF, I must be the novice of the novices in this topic, but I always used plain kitchen knives [not tooth serrated, though] for cutting the parts off the sprues. Had gotten pretty good at it and left no excess flash most of the time.

So, anyone here get the HG Seravee kit yet - and if so, what are your thoughts on it?

Hey guys are they selling any kind of Haro, you know the little bouncy ball guy? I wanted one since I first saw Gundam Seed. Technically he's not a gundam but gundam related and in Lockon's case "part of the gundam" kind of, so I thought it was ok to ask here.

    Seed or Double 00?

    Is MG Unicorn worth $60?

    There's at least one:

Mascot Robo Haro (Completed) Bandai Gundam00

Green version here (possibly a different toy altogether, I dunno for sure):

He does look good but can be a bit plain IMO - even in Destroy mode but he does look er, cool. $60 seems reasonable if it includes shipping. I can't help you that much as I get my MG kits locally.

If you're new to Gundams, I recommend maybe a Seed Gundam like Strike or Impulse.

Better idea: Strike Noir or Infinite Justice.

Well, provided he doesn't have a thing for the "hero" mechs or something. IMO, Noir and IJ are the superior kits. Noir takes the basic Strike design, and for the model, tightens up some of the minor flaws of the original MG Strike (although most of those flaws were fixed with the IWSP and Sword/Launcher versions too), and couples it with a much more fun set of weapons/equipment.

Infinite Justice is just a damned good kit, and a very cool design (arguably the best design to come out of Destiny, along with perhaps the Legend). Super solid kit, great articulation, nice gimmicks, and a very sharp aesthetic.

Well, unless you're attached to the colors or the Noir Striker Pack, I'd say for for the Strike E, which is the same body as the Noir, all it's cool weapons, plus a couple more beam rifles, plus the IWSP for good measure. It's basically the ultimate form of the Strike.

    And sexy too.

Only difference besides moulded colours is the IWSP pack. Noir has the basic strike riffle, two duel riffles and his two trademark handguns. Nothing has been omitted or added for Strike E IWSP

Uhhhh..... Isn't that roughly what I said? While you were correcting me, you should have mentioned something about the Grand Slam.

Not to be pissing on your post, but you mention the Strike E as having the same body as Noir, all the cool weapons [true so far] PLUS a couple more beam riffles, which is incorrect. It's not exactly what you said, honestly.

Can anyone show me a comparative picture of a MSiA (the action figure line) and a 1:144 scale Gundam? It can be any Gundam, I just want to know how a 1:144 will look with a MSiA, as I mostly buy only MSiA.

Another review today. Its SDX Knight (Or Kishi) Gundam. Its been a while since a Knight SD Gundam has been released. This is a pre-made figure though. I believe this mold is based on a resin garage kit released in 2006 at Wonder Fest. It does have a few extras over that resin kit.

It has a flip up panel showing the extras and Knight Gundam himself.

It comes with a card (I used hto have some of these :D ) based on his original model form.

Knight Gundam and all his extras.

Knight Gundam was a Musha Gundam from Ark who was from into the mystical fantasy world of Lacroa where all the residents are based on roles from Dragon Quest-esque RPGs. He was originally Musha MKIII but when he entered the world of Lacroa he was split into two gundams. Knight Gundam and Satan Gundam.

Knight has quite a bit of articulation. His head can look up and down (looks a bit wierd at certain angles). He has two at the shoulders, and wrist articulation (twist AND hinge). He has no elbow articulation wierdly enough. He has waist articulation as well and hip and ankle articulation. Most SDs nowadays should have similar articulation to him anyhow. The box seems to promote him as a diecast toy but only two parts are diecast as far as I can tell (his shoulder pads).

He comes with several expressions shown by changing his eyes. His helmet needs to be removed for this.

Looking left (he can also look right).

    Surprised.

    Happy.

He has his trusty Knight Sword which can be holstered into the Knight Shield.

Theres also a extra piece that can change the short sword into a long sword.

And it can be holstered as such.

The top part of the shield can be pushed down for some reason.

He has a cape/mantle that can be attached as well.

Another weapon he has is the 'electromagnetic' lance. I'm assuming it has something to do with the extending part but mine doesnt hold in 'short form'.

It can be changed into a joust.

He can holster it by adding a piece which attaches to his head.

Like his original model kit he can change into a centaur mode.

He can stand up on two legs with a bit of parts rearranging.

His horse legs can be stored on his back (with the back feet replaced of course). This is what the original toy looked like.

You can remove his chest plate and helmet and add on a new helmet to look like his pre knight look.

More parts can be taken off :D .

The stand included can help him uitilise his centaur mode or for in flight poses.

A bit expensive because of the economy at the moment but its a pretty cool set. Recommended for fans of the SD look :) .
