Finally got to see it. I loved it! This show looks like it will make up for the suckfest that was Batman Gotham Knight.
I KNOW who Ted Kord is but that fellas post didn't make sense. I did find it funny a man named Lord killed Ted, so the typo was funny to me. Hell I know who Dan Garret is.
I caught an episode of it on Saturday...I wasn't expecting to like the show but I found it really entertaining; particularly: Blue Beetle: "It's better to die on your feet than live on your knees." Batman: "They don't have knees. Now wrap it up."
No, I meant that Ted didn't have powers or fancy armor. He was an athletic fighter who relied more on agility than strength, kind of like Spider-Man (Spidey does have the strength, but his fighting style is still really acrobatic). There's also the fact that Ted Kord was created by Spidey's original artist, Steve Ditko.
I was kind of expecting a 60's batman camp type of a show but was pleasantly surprised. The show as a whole was very entertaining and I am now looking forward to future episodes! Animation was great too!
You have an odd understanding of the word campy. Adam West's Batman was campy. This show is what is defined as 'fun'.
Still trying to get use to Bader voicing Batman. I'm used to him being a dim-witted delivery guy. Not a super awesome detective/vigilante. edit: Forgot he played Hoss on Billy & Mandy. I guess that role is closer to Batman.
The second episode was fantastic. A Fire cameo and an army of gorillas riding dinosaurs. What more could you want (aside from Fire being in the whole episode, not just the opening)?
Did anyone else find Plasticman too tame in parts? I guess I'm just too used to him being a goofball all the time. Still enjoying this show.
yea, this was a LOT more fun then i thought it would be lol it's like the super friends, except more modern, and way more fun. with even a dramatic kind'a dark, undertone lol!
When does this show come on? Saturday morning? Also regarding Ted Kord, he is actually more like Night Owl than Spiderman
