Sorry to get off topic, but has the above statement been confirmed by Hasbro? Will they in fact be releasing an MP Grimlock in the US?

 

Nothing official, yet. That's why I said inevitable. Basically we don't know for sure if they'll release him, but there's little doubt in the matter. Grimlock is one of the most recongized Transformers characters here in the US.

 

There is the first pic of the figs but I don't know if we can repost them.

 

I think there's room for both. Addicts for new molds, whores for redecos:

TF Addict=Always wanting new and more of it. Once crack is used, it's worthless, so the addict must buy new crack to satisfy his addiction.

TF Whore=Keeps turning the same tricks with different outfits.

Hopefully, we'll get him like we got Optimus and Starscream. It might be worth the wait, especially since Megatron was fairly easy to get even after the initial rush (mostly because of the orange plug idiocy).

I would love to pick him up at retail, but I'll still get him regardless. It's just a matter of when and where.

You know, if you don't like the horns, you could probably cut them off the head, peg them onto the jet nosecone like the head was still folded away, and glue them down. Unless you don't mind the horns and just dislike the color, in which case...headswap with an Energon Storm Jet? He's got white horns.

but, hasbro should have made new translucent fists and feet, that match the box art, and that can just peg in when combined (like the g1 hands and feet for superion, and bruticus).

but either way, im still buying these guys.

$35 would be my low end and that's being extremely hopeful. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find this set on the shelves for $45-50.

Seems like you are missing quite a few accessories for those guys - but maybe its just the pic...

I have all those except the stunticons - nice collection though even with the missing pieces - that had to set you back a bit

Did you have any of them originally in the 80s - I had all but 3 from back when I was a kid!!

 

BTW BIG pass on those new combiners - how ugly and pointless
