Nachos Libre. I just could not see anything redeemable in that movie. Borat as well. I did not find it funny at all, but just kind of sad.
Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) It's worth watching, purely because you will never, ever watch anything that bad ever again. Everything will seem like cinematographic gold in comparison.
Reign of Fire - Huge letdown, here I was expecting a huge battle and all I got was some bunch of humans killing the male dragon (nevermind the fact the dragons won a war against the colective nations of Earth is stupid and ******ed to begin with) War of the Worlds (Spilberg) - Fuck, this sucked bigtime. I wanted to see a goddam war! Not some massacre. I wanted to see the Iowa pulling a Thunderchild (if you read the original book you will understand) on the Tripods. Instead we got scenes were humans get massacred because the aliens were protected by Plot Device instead of some cool battles and a whiny brat to boot.
Batman and Robin. It will always be my choice for this dubious honor - always. Yeah, Uwe Boll's movies are ghastly, but they're ghastly in a lulzy way. Batman and Robin makes me want to kill things, kill them dead.
I think the worst movie I have seen.....hard to say I figure all lifetime, and most of Disneys chanel original take the cake on my books. add HSM1-3 specially when I watched that movie I was disapointed at no thunderchild....better yet during the whole movie my friends and I were just waiting for goddamn godzilla, or mazinger Z to show up and step on the aliens and the CAST of the goddamn movie. on the plus side after leaving I picked up a few compilations of League of Extraordinary Gentleman to take away what I had just seen
Yeah, also HSM1-3 had such bad writing (like one the one guys says "Singing is stupid" and then started singing) I dont know how anyone likes it. A lot of people think little girls like it but no, I have a lot of girls in my chool who are the type of people you think would like it (they like jonas brothers) and they HATE IT.
No, just watched the first. (forced to in school) heard the second was better, and not gonna even bother with the third.
I've got to agree on Battlefield Earth. That's always the first one that springs to my mind when someone mentions bad movies. Same here. It may have been better than Fight Club, The Big Lebowski, and The Matrix rolled into one after that point, but I'll never know. And it's a risk I was very willing to take. Also couldn't make it through John Q. If you're going to make a movie with a heavy medical focus, PLEASE do at least 10 minutes of research. Oh, I don't know. I just Netflix'd Postal about a month ago, and it was pretty funny. And Bloodrayne is worth a look for a very specific 10 seconds or so. Those two are definitely up (or down, I guess) there on the list. Agreed! And on the Van Damme front, Timecop's pretty cool. Your subconscious mind seems to disagree. How can you nominate movies you haven't seen for being the worst? (Or for anything, really?) WHAT?!?! Idiocracy is frickin' GENIUS. (And, sadly, not very implausible.)
I thought the message it gave was very clear and effective. I would nominate all those stupid fucking "Movie" movies. Also, Water World was a giant turd. Superbad was Super Terrible, and Walk Hard sucked hard. Those are just some I remember at the moment.
