Got the game today. Simply love it.

One problem though. Is anyone else having trouble with connecting to the LBP online network? It seems to not want to connect sometimes and tends to cause the game to hang when in the Pod.

Yeah, yesterday after I got home from work I tried playing LBP while connected and it was horrendous. Even while playing alone on the main story paths the game would freeze/load and when trying to load a fan made level..forget about it. It would load the level for 5 minutes then say level couldnt be loaded. I got to play 2 community levels and gave up in frustration. I guess that is to be expected on launch. Hopefully it will get straightened out here in a few days because the potential for fun when browsing and playing community levels is INSANE!

    Damn that was badass!

That's the beauty of it, when i was in Beta, I spent more time playing other people's level, and through that I started getting ideas of my own. Last night, I spent, who knows how long, just playing with objects. Making a giant Ferris wheel and dropping things on it to see the effect of the weight on it. When the wheel was big, the weight of the apples didn't affect it, but then I took the wheel and made it small and started jumping on it, and all of a sudden I was making it spin out of control.

My brother in law got the game and I played it with him yesterday. I'm at a loss for words at how perfect this game is. Wish I had more costume options, but I only just started.

I got the Kratos Costume from Gamestop and the cool thing is that it's not a forced set. In other words, I have Kratos Goat Tee, and his swords, but my Sackboy is blue with cross-stitched eyes and a pirate's costume, so he looks like a little swashbuckler with badass swords.

This has been a lot of fun so far. I am anxious to finish up the 1 player game and have enough resources to start designing levels.

Yeah, servers were in a sorry shape last night. Honestly, they should have kept them down until they got the issues worked out. I wonder if this is the point where Sony starts to wish they charged for online access.

When I played with my brother in law, the game got interupted alot. From what I hear is that it's the 1st time the servers opened up. Im guessing that the beta was suppose to test the servers but so many times the servers just arnt prepared for the ass rape it gets on opening day.

I've seen it happen before with Star Wars Galaxies, City of Heros and World of Warcraft. Now those are all MMO's I know, but the principe I think is the same.

I hope Sony does not start charging otherwise I will be an offline only player. I don't play enough online to justify paying a monthly fee.

I doubt they would change it now, they would look like douches. It will all get worked out. When everybody tried to jump on last night it probably caused a meltdown. :lol

In other news I made a rocket cow last night and my wife said "it sucks" :(

I have plans to develop an insane mass-o-core level ala asshole Mario and I wanna be the Guy

I think those kinds of levels are going to become really popular both for the challenge factor and the "I can NOT BELIEVE you die from that" humor angle.

Ok, so then last night I bought Fallout, and it's pretty badass. Definitely a time-stealer.
