I'm so getting the silver one. Red is nice, but the silver is wonderful.

I'm really digging the look of these guys. Love the overall design and like both the red and the silver version. Still the silver one appeals to me a bit more, I guess it makes him feel like a more unique character and not just another Prime figure to me.

These are a big meh to me... they look good and well engineered, but it just doesn't say Optimus Prime/Convoy to me. The red one's bot mold reminds me more of Fire Convoy's (non super mode) bot mode.

I like these. Any chance for repaints? I would prefer a Smokescreen/Prowl/or Bluestreak for the fairlady z mold instead of Megatron.

I'm glad to see the opening hood, trunk, doors and car interior is still retained from Binaltech even at the smaller scale.

I prefer the Silver one, but I'll have to get the Prime version also.

I just don"t understand why this is such an issue for so many Transfans. I say get over it and enjoy a high quality Transformer.

    word.

if they were 1:24 i'd be a lot more tempted, but the combination of scale, price and character choice are all outweighing my potential interest ~ in particular, it's not THAT much better then the $10 Universe Z bros (it's better, don't get me wrong, just not $40 better IMO)

really the only thing that super impresses me about the mold is the way the hood/grill fenders condense, that's pretty damn amazing ~ the rest is kinda Binaltech-lite ~ i really dislike the body panel shoulders... the headsculpt is pretty cool too.

Edit: oh, and silver >>>> red, although i think if the red one just bailed the blue thigh pieces it'd look a lot better; the bright blue there is kind of an eyesore

Yeah I never noticed the panel on his head until you said something, that kind of sucks. I mean I still have both of these and both Megs on PreO and I'm pretty psyched on them.

I really hope Megatron's head is similar to Decepticharge cuz I think it would make him look younger, maybe have the story about the 2 of them be set in a different reality than G1. Give them more youthful attitudes

I really want to like this thing and support the line with my $$, but it has a "not quite a movie design yet not quite a Binaltech" look that mostly leaves me cold. I'm curious to see if the line continues beyond this first release and Megs.

The smaller size is kind of a bummer, but they both look really good anyways. It looks like they may have quite a bit of articulation. That head sculpt is really awesome.

Does anyone know what the ratio will be for the colors? 50% silver, 50% red or...
