TFA reruns no longer showing on YTV

    A heads up, and crap news for all Canadian viewers... Just watched the latest rerun on YTV (Fistful of Energon, which is still the best episode!), and the host of Crunch announced that they are no longer showing the reruns for now, but replacing it with... Martin Mystery?

    Checked the TV guide on MSN and it checks out... I just find it a little sucky that they stopped showing mid-season! Still, it can't be long until the next season starts, so I can wait it out. ^^;

    Well, I still estimate that new episodes of TFA will air in December.

    And besides, there's still the time slot of 7:30 pm. (Right after Wolverine and the Xmen). So we'll just have to wait.

    god, i new it wouldn't last long without bad timeslots.

    why transformers......why can't storm hawks get that insted........

    Well, I can't speak for the Saturday after next because there's no listing for it yet... But next Saturday is some cheesy Flintstones Halloween special, so no TFA at all next week.

    I'll update when there's a listing for November.

    i'm thinking they're stopping it for just a few weeks, so they can lead in to the next season smoothly
    that's what they did with house here in australia, and they do it with a lot of shows
    staggered reruns can be a good sign

    Repeats aren't always agood thing.
    You might love it the first time,
    but on the 10th time you'll shout enough.
    An endless repeat cycle isn't good for ratings or for advertisers.
    Taking tfa off air for a while is a good thing.
    Build up a little demand for it.
    When it comes back, everyone will be stoked.
    The alternative is
    "ho hum, which episode is on today".
    There are only 26 episodes.
    "Too much of a good thing....."

    I'm normally a naysayer, but this time, I have to say not to panic. Animated has always rolled with the punches and came out on top. Until we see something coming from Hasbro or whatever, I wouldn't worry.

    YTV does this some times, but only with cartoons as far as I've seen.

    Damnit! First Cartoon Network removes Animated off of sundays, now YTV? Yup, my prediction MAY just be true guys. But no worries, I don't have Animated. ;)
