I could get behind a Classiverse Swindle remold - new head and new cassette companion. (new weapon would be good too, but I take what I can get). The jeep mode already looks like a cross between a standard army Jeep (cartoon Swindle) and the pre-Humvee vehicle that toy Swindle was.

After it was mentioned earlier, I'm ALL for making some new cassette molds and selling them as Legends-class toys. Seems near-perfect to me.

 

Damn dude, that's some wacky shit. Must have missed that part of the episode. I've seen a chick take on a horse but I've never seen a Robot Jeep take on a Robot Jaguar.

 

I've been figuring swindle, as an obvious repaint, all these combiner teams were starting to get. I know some are just probably end up being one offs but i wonder how far hasbro would push completing the teams.

 

You know, I'm getting really sick of seeing mistransformed toys by this point. Seriously, these things are designed for children! An adult should be able to transform them blindfolded. And I'm just as unimpressed with the paint apps on Hound, which seem to have changed since the stock photos we saw last week. The yellow stripes on his arms have been reduced and the fender (or whatever it's called) is now an ugly bronze instead of black. The lime green is still as repulsive. Dear God, I just hope Takara gets it right.

From what I can tell, Ravage doesn't look that much different from his G1 cassette, albeit not as thin. It would be interesting to see him with chromed legs...

Well, if they do have Swindle planned (and based on what was said in this month's interview with the head designer for Universe it's definently likely he was planned from the begining if they intend to give him a new head) than he probably won't be out until some time late next year because of that screwy rule about no character from Animated being in Universe unless they're as different as the two Prowl's are.

Still, I say bring him on! Though, I doubt we'd get an all new mold cassette... more likely to see Ravage repainted as Steeljaw (though I'd be happy with an obscure homage such as eHobby Glit or Howlback... but that's probably more of a Botcon dream right there...).

 

With a different head Hound can be Swindle. Hound looks awesome. I think Ravage's head looks weird but that's because its the only shot we have of it.

AS far as Classics Jazz is concerned. Laserbeak would go perfect with him if you watch the episode "Countdown to Extinction."

 

If they do Swindle though, they should package him with a different cassette. Like RUMBLE.

 

I think the legends figures would be a good venue for tapes.

 

im happy that hound appears to have proper Tf feet, big things he can stand on. The binaltech toys often looked good ontop but the legs were usually a mess, hound was no exception. He looks more solid than prowl and less fiddly than tankor and streaker has rather messed up legs (but that mould is actually growing on me), my favourite new classic as far as I can tell from the shots.

 

While I completely agree with you... it'll probably have more to do with whether or not Ravage shares a mold with Hound... because if he does you're probably just looking at a Ravage repaint of some sort.

 

Both look awesome. A must buy.

OMG, Hound looks so sweet!!! Must get him! Ravage is cool too, but I really want Hound! An Autobot Jeep... me likes.

 

On second thoughts, forget Swindle. I'd rather see a Roadbuster repaint + new head. The poor guy hasn't had a proper toy since his G1 release.

Still completely happy with both figures' appearance. Will be on my small list of figures I will be buying.
