I get the impression the C-17s are going to be used to haul the bots around the globe, since there really isn't any other way (short of space bridges or Superman-style flight) that they could get from China to the US to Egypt and back (presumably) all in the course of one movie.
Yep, this is what I'm assuming too. Plus we've seen pictures of Ironhide being loaded into the back of one. Very strange how little we've heard about shooting over the last few weeks. Seems like we're missing huge chunks of the movie - we've only really had the China stuff (opening scene), college, "Egypt" and now this.
Have they modified Bumblebee's model? I didn't notice those brown pins on his heels before. Man, I love spotting the details on these robots.
Im getting the impression the C17 is either a transformer or a transforming vehicle similar to the arc. I only think this because of the line where he says the human driven hum V's are circling the C17. That would be awesome if it was similar to the way the Autobots used to ride in jetfire.
The autobots don't really seem all that neato if the military has to fly them around. Blackbird is soundwave, C-17 is Jetfire.
Bbee's plate says "Roberts" on it. My guess is it's not going to be used for the filming. It's there just to please and entertain the military. I agree that the C17 is probably going to be used to transport the Autobots around that globe. I really doubt C17 is Jetfire or any kind of transforming robot or ship for that matter, but I concur that it does sound lame that the air force has to fly the Autobots around.
They used the Bee prop the first time because he was supposedly capured and freezed, so he couldn't move, so I'm guessing they are using the prop to represent him sitting during the flight, and that would require to pose him bendng his knees and arms, making him the biggest action figure ever!!
That full sized prop of BB worries me. I'm not sure that they are going to be able to have him effectively pee on anyone while making digital fart noises before "blowing his nose" on Sam's (spoiler highlight to see) new girlfriend
Spolier Sam's new girl friend is a decepticon. i was ment to post this else were but i figured i do it now.......remeber the scene were sam is at the frat party with the girl and bumble comes and crashes it......they find out that the girl is acualy a con in holo form. got this info from an insider.

idk the guy i got the info from was an extra in la. he told me that meg was back befor all these photos leaked. With Blackout and Baracade have holo forms in the first moive and the way that the frat scene was......
I don't see how that indicates it's a Transformer but it would be cool to have such a massive 'bot in the movie.

I'm getting some quite heavy Knight Rider/Team Knight Rider vibes from the Carrier plane, but I can live with that since it fits nicely into the whole campaign of 'tv media hiding the truth in plain sight' type idea that the arg pushed. It being a transformer would rock. =D Alicetron has been confirmed before already from other sources as well, that's nothing new. Though it was never iterated as Sam's new g/f, that was pure fan speculation. Maybe that wasn't legends incinerator we saw... but this guy instead?
