Extremely unlikely that it's officially licensed.

Seriously! Hasbro has so much recent, mind-blowing artwork at its disposal that it's disappointing to see them license out the same ol' stuff time after time. I'm not knocking ALL the DW stuff, but come on Hasbro, thumb through IDW's Spotlights once in a while. At the risk of ass-kissing, I'd love to see a calendar with Don/Josh's Spotlight Optimus Prime cover, or the James Raiz/Josh cover for RoS #3. Fan-frakkin'-tastic.

Wow, so we're going to have our choice of FOUR different TF calendars for 2009? 1 G1 calendar, 2 Movie calendars, and 1 Animated calendar? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's unprecedented...

Some of the art choices are abit random. Bumblebee uses that fugly Pat Lee cover art (occassionally used by TakaraTomy for promotional purposes) and G1 Tracks's box art instead of their MTMTE art.

Meanwhile, some of them are using artwork drawn by Guido Guidi as lithos for IDW...

Over used artwork is lame, I'd go for backer card artwork over what's in that calender.

I actually found this on Calendars.com like a month ago. I wanted a "NEW" calendar but all I found was this one with pretty much the same pics with different backgrounds than the one I have right now

Here's the link for these. They go for 12.99 but I think there's always 15% or more off of them
