Did'nt see a thread for this so please forgive me I missed it. I recently got into the Saint Seiya anime and have been looking at the Cloth Myth Series for a while. I was wondering for those who are already into collecting them should I start with the 5 Bronze Warrior box set, or should I try and find the Hades Chapter versions, or just wait for Bandai to release them in boxset form?

I would suggest the Hades chapter ones. Those are more articulate and IMHO their head sculpts are far improved over the originals.

I like the Hades versions better. They look better and have better articulation. It's just a little hard tracking them down. The God cloth version looks realy good too. You might want to preorder that too.

I myself don't have any of the bronze saints. I'm trying to finish the Gold saints first. In fact, I just got Taurus, Aries, Pices, and Minos. I just need Milo to finish my gold saints..

Ah another Saint Seiya fan on this board!

I currently have all of the Gold saints, 5 main bronze saints characters (3rd version of cloths), and all of the Hades surplices released so far. I'd say if you want a solid core, I'd recommend what I have, starting with the Bronze saints, and then try to track down the Gold Saints while you still can (they're getting more rare with time). The Hades ones will be around for a while so go for them last.

I'd say in terms of looks, I like the Hades ones best with the Gold Saints a close second.

The Poseidon ones also look really good, but I'd only recommend them to the completest since Myth Cloths are expensive, and it really adds up.

I actually started a thread on this board more than two years ago with my collection:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/toyar...ya-myth-cloths-post-your-collection-here.html

Take a look if you'd like. I'll post some updated pics of the entire collection soon.

I've always wanted the bronze saints but I've never really been satisfied with the ones they released. The Hades ones are cool but I just know that they'll make some way better ones at some point.

I have V3 Pegasus Seiya, V2 Pegasus Seiya (I bought it by accident at a shop in HK thinking it was a deal. Doh!) and Gemini Saga. Its cool that they give you two bodies for Saga to replicate the illusion Gemini Saint.

Go for the Libra Gold Saint, he's chuck full of weapons, Gemini is a must have as well, as for the Broze Saints, get the Final Version of the cloth for the best version, they are also releasing the God Cloth version of the Bronze Saints, so watch out for that, I have the Appendix of the cloth version of Seiya and Shiryu, they are awesome, hope they'll come out with Shun, Hyoga and Ikki version of it and their Pandora Box. They are also making an Athena figure.

Forgot I also had Sagittarius Aioros. It was so disappointing though. The face sculpt for both faces (Aioros and Seiya) and its wings made it fall over a lot. I hope God Cloth Seiya isnt as bad.

Thanks for the replys guys. I think I'm going to go ahead and get the Bronze Cloth Boxset first. It'll be cheaper than hunting down the Hades version and from what I understand they have more diecast than the first release. I can put the money saved toward getting the god cloths and some adversaries to go along with them.:thumbs2:

You should definately try for all of the "Final" Bronze cloths, they are all really nice.

If you really like the figures, the God cloth versions of the 5 bronze saints are coming out throughout 2009+ (Seiya is avaialble now), the really nice upgrade to the God cloth figures is that there are no more screw holes on the back and the joint holes on the knees and elbows have been filled in. It's amazing how much a difference it make to the figure when all the holes are filled in.

    Final Bronze Seiya (V2):

If you are looking beyond the core 5 Saints:

I recommend the Chrysaor, Lyumandes and Scylla Scales. I really like them.
I also recommend the Syd, Hagen and Siegfried Odin Robes. They are really good too.

The Gold Saints are kinda hit and miss depending how much show accuracy you are looking for. But I can't recommend strongly enough Gold Saint Leo with his Appendix upgrade its amazing how much the appendix set does for Leo.

I was shocked to see this thread, This is the third time I have seen a Myth Cloth thread started here. Hoping to see some longevity for this one.

You guys ruined me with the last Saint Seiya Myth cloth thread! lol

I now have V3 Seiya, Ikki, Hyoga and Shiryu, Gemini Saga and Scorpio Milo.
I'm looking to get Leo Aiolia because I have the Appendix for that and Taurus Aldebaron just because he's massive.

wow the god cloth is a major improvment I wanted the Final Bronze Figures but right now their hard to find and expensive on ebay. so I just went with the Reg Bronze figs. Also I was thinking about getting the Odin Robe figures since I like their look. I also like poseidon and his generals. I'll be sure to post pics of the Boxset when it arrives.
