Got a 10-day trial from a friend, and started playing it today. Pretty fun so far, really. I got two characters, though the second character is mostly meant to RP with that friend.

stupid question...even though i got a lvl 64, i didn't ever use it...but there's some equipment that has a "use" (ie. use: reduces your threat to enemy targets within 30 yards)

how do you actually use it...

 

Well... im gonna be jumping servers prolly by the end of this week. Kara pugs are few and far between and most other guilds ive been talking to have raid times that dont work well with me. I have a rl friend on Hydraxis and his guild is pretty nice. t4-t5 with kara runs several times a week. server economy is decent too. Ill still keep a few characters on FAILstrom but most of my friends are also planing to jump soon. Go fig

Equip the item to your character and then drag the item in question to a hotkey or action tab like a spell.

There are also macros to used as well but i cant recall how to do them

 

I rolled a af shammy on Black Dragonflight and the server isnt too bad. more horde than AF so contested area can be a pain, but horde are kinda.....slow lol. (I've gotten away from more ?? lvls than I can count.) The economy is pretty good, I made mount money in 20 lvls and then made it back in 2 lvls after I bought my mount. Looks like there are kara pugs ran a good chunk of the time and over all the server seems fairly nice.

 

Lemme tell ya guys, after being in the beta for a bit, Deathknights are OP and WILL be nerfed if blizzard has any sense in them.

Man a 59 in blues getting constant 3.5k crits with Scourge Strike....

Heh... server jumped to Hydraxis and did some heroics. After it was all said and done my healing jumped almost 70pts due to badge loot upgrades (new pants and some nice gems).the raid leader was impressed with my heals and i had complements all around.

Sadly i had to change my name in the jump, which was a good thing since i now have the original spelling I had wanted: Kes

Arghh.. Just one day before the last con of the season. I was hoping for the end of November. Oh well, guess I better get my pre-order switched over to a Collector's Edition now that it's been announced.

 

Just took 2 weeks of people failing, still had 2 deaths in the kill, but Archy got put down today. Now we are on a mission to be in Illidians room before TBC is over. And I got CE version of Wrath Pre-ordered already. We are already hoping to be in Naxx in xpac withing 3 weeks of release if possable(some say yes, some dont).

 

Man where'd you pre-order the CE version of that?

Ok Ive been on the PTR the past few days since the release of the Content Patch. Damn im impressed. My Shaman's heals were slightly better (almost +100-200 higher) and apparently i Spirit Linked half of Shat while testing it.

My Hunter... good lord i LOVE the Devilsaur. The new hunter talents for Beast Mastery are plain evil as well as the Marksmen talents (adding all your Int to AP is pure love!). Im still working out how it make my attack macros since a BM hunter can max out several pet abilities in their talent trees (Rabies needs a macro, as does Lick Your Wounds).

then that means you can't buy the brewfest mount anymore...its a drop from new boss Coren Direbrew which is a lvl 70+ elite...

...so for those of us that aren't lvl 70s yet and was looking foward to buying the mount, we're now screwed....and i dont see a point in doing the fest now.


but those that can, he's on Blackrock and he drops epics and the brewfest ram/kodo...but the best is a teleportation device which ports your entire party to Grim Guzzler (or so i hear is the best drop).

 

Wow....... gg whiners. Now only a handful of people will get the mount. Nice of them to screw the horde over. Oh well i still got the Ram on my lock. I think I'll go ride around the AF brewfest scream bad words in gutterspeak at them

 

Works for me since I dislike both Rams and Kodos, but from what I've been seeing on the official forums, people are being pretty dishonest with that boss..
