I think it's more likely that the infusion went the other way.

He is so badass that my other toys decided to move to another empty shelf or just jump down the shelf they shared with Animated Megs.........by themselves :D

He's certainly my favourite Animated purchase so far. Even better than Magnus, who has some rather crappy lines.

Shockwave will finally give him some competition, though.

Yeah, he's my 2nd fave Megatron to-date. The homage to G1 Megs is utterly amazing! The Head, colour scheme, the fusion cannon. If not for simplistic transformation he would have scored more points!

To be honest, I don't know. I don't know have the toy, but I don't like the vehicle mode, and I don't like how plain and simple the robot mode looks, though the sculpt is pretty amazing.

I have a feeling if I bought this it will turn out like Classics Jetfire. I heard so much hype about the figure yet it is one of the rare figures I absolutely regret buying. Stupid thing.

You regret buying Classics Jetfire? That's a shame. He's one of the nicer figures too.

I guess if you knew someone who has Leader Megs, you could check it out for yourself. That should help you decide better.

Nope. In fact, I have to say, this one figure really re-invigorated my interest in TFs alltogether. I had little to no interest in him at all, until I saw him in a store, and it's like a switch flipped, and I had to get him right then and there. Heck, I got Lugnut, Soundwave, and BA just to give him a little army.

I've transformed him more in one day then I have most Transformers (especially MP Prime) ever, and he's without a doubt my favorite TF mold ever. He is just incredible, plus he's a sweet homage to Super Megatron without the dorky legs sticking out beneath him that Super Megatron sported. Even without the animated show, this would be one of the best TFs ever, and his badassery is without equal so far IMHO. While I'm sure it will, I just can't see my interest in him dwindling, ever.

He's like Classics Jetfire, only better.

    Lanky legs? Biggest fusion cannon?

Are you sure you mean Leader Megs? His legs are thick with a narrow joint and his fusionb cannon is nowhere the size of say, Voyager Megs' or MP's.

I am a big fan of Leader Megs as well. I actually purchased him at the same time as Leader Bulkhead and the winner of the two was a no-brainer! The alt mode is great, the bot mode is great, and I even like the lights/sounds! The only thing that I didn't like was the red symbol on his chest, but some paint took care of that issue and he's one of the favorites in my collection now!
