Neat idea, but part of what makes Cosmos (IMO) is his fireplug-like proportions, and the standard Muggs body with that paint looks more like a Medabots refugee to me. :)

    *DROOLS*

Captain "Bucky" America's costume, while different, retains much of the same base colors as the original Captain America, so I don't see that as a good recolor. USAgent's red, gray, black and white could be a good choice, but would a USAgent figure sell? I also think a "night ops" Captain America repaint could be a choice.

No idea about Thor. Beta Ray Bill, that Thor from the 26th Century, Woden and company feature mostly the same colors.

Haven't seen the pics (yet), but that description fits G1 Inferno perfectly.

And since Inferno was my very first TF, the news about a new one has me :rock

Are all these expected to be the same size? Dipping into Voyager class stuff would be cool, but may screw up the look a bit if one of the characters was HUGE compared to the others.

Yeah, I believe they're like the Star Wars figures where everyone in the line is done at the 'old school mega' price point ($14.99 in BW) and at their size too. No announcements of anything like Star Wars' Han & Chewy (and hopefully we don't get any strange combiner guys...) or Death Star Vader.

Unless they did someone like Fin Fang Foom (and what would he turn into... or would they make the Dragon form his alternate mode and than give him a giant robot mode? Hmm...) or perhaps Galactus (I could see him transforming into his world ship...) I don't really see them doing one at the $49.99 price point.

Now, if they were to do a Sentinel, Giant Man, Apocalypse... I could see them working at the Ultra price that was used for the Han & Chewy love pack... I mean two pack.

Yeah, that's also what I was thinking

Ultimate Captain America has barely any red. His gloves and boots are brown leather. Best pics I could find quickly were of his Legends figure:

    MarvelLegends.Net - Marvel Legends Series 8

Well, if they had Ant Man as Giant Man instead, a large figure would have been in scale... :)

I want to see pics! Any posted yet?

I still vote for a Sentinel, it would work so beautifully.

Well, yes and no. The big difference I see is that, while Gen 1 and Universe Inferno appear to transform similarly, Universe is a shorter vehicle, which equates to proportionately shorter legs. (also Universe doesn't have all the stuff around the head that Gen 1 did). To me, Universe Inferno is looking a lot like a robot costume made out of a refrigerator box. :)

    Thanks!

I didn't realize Shockwave/Longarm would be one toy. Yes, I know they are the same character, just didn't realize Longarm even would get a toy in some form. Though I really want to know why Shockwave has two "normal" eyes in addition to his big red cyclops eye. I thought in the few shots we've had of his face in Shockwave form on the show, he's just had the one big eye.

Blur looks awesome. And I'll probably pick up CJ. I wonder if he will come to earth at any point? If so, and that really will be his alt mode, I want to know who would have a flashing blue light on top of their vehicle? If it's just because it was their in the mold, I wonder if it would have been too hard to have no light on either CJ or BB, and then separately glue on BB's light.

Cheetor looks awesome. I'm going on the assumption that he was mistransformed as you thought.. or else his shoulders need to be a *little* higher.

Anyone know why Ravage comes with Hound? Any chance we will see a Classics Soundwave? That would be kind of cool to have Sounwave come with one or two tapes, and others released as bonuses with other deluxes.

    It's a homage to a scene in a certain G1 episode. :thumbs2:

Gah, my memory of such things has weakened with time...

If someone wanted to send me the whole of G1, I'd stop asking such silly questions :D

On Classics Soundwave, Hasbro has said a few times that the TRU Reissue Soundwave was good enough and that they don't have any plans of making a new one anytime soon.

    Lame. :p

I just got a really good deal on a Music Label Soundwave though, so he will go into my Classics collection for now. If only he had room for ravage in his tiny little memory card holdin' chest. I agree with others who have previously posted this: remove the electronics and do a little retooling (more space for tapes, perhaps, and a larger "battery" area that would actually store his weapons), and you'd have a nice Classics Deluxe Soundwave.

Or just release some transforming MiniSD cards and I'll be happy
