Are you planning to purchase some stickers to put on the trailer? I know of repolabels but I doubt they make G1 Prime stickers in 1:32 scale. That is a nice setup I plan on doing the same.

 

I was going to do some custom painting on it but decided that I like it the way it is.

Definately worth it! I put the reprolabels on mine a few days ago and it makes him even more beautiful.

I just placed my order for Takara Prime!

Premium Prime came in from Hasbro yesterday. The box was a little shotty and the flames on the right wheel well had some pretty bad streaks on it. I'm going to send it back, there's no rush. I have 60 days!

Anyways, I'll probably be a lot happier with Takara's Premium Prime, since I never bought any leaders from the Movie line. Now I have all the Premium Autobots and Premium Barricade and Blackout! They're going to look sweet on my book shelf!

Can any one confirm that Takara's Prime has the classic transformation sound like the Hasbro model?

I gotta agree with Nightrain...it's nice with the chrome, but they needed to go all the way with the chrome to convince me.

 

I dont think it would look as good with all chrome personally, I think the chrome placement ob him was pretty much perfect. I do wish however they had made all the gray parts on him more of that metallic silver colour but they only seemed to use it on his legs, but again only a minor quibble.

In my opinion what really makes this toy, besides the chrome, is also the new head as boy howdy does he look great with it.

 

I would want every grey truck part chromed(I see a little bit on the toolbox and the smokestacks) and the grey robot parts to be silver like the US Premium Prime and have all of the accurate paint apps(inner legs, outer arms, little bits of detail everywhere else). Sounds like a lot but I would be willing to pay around a 100 for that

Though I hear where you're coming from, I kind of like what I've seen with the red shoulders and the blue at the top of the legs. I see that it's the same on the first version of it.

And to add to that the head sculpt has even more defintion with the extra grey paint that's not even on Hasbro's Premium. I'm diggin the new head sculpt, it looks very good!
