Did this ever come out? Did it have all the chrome that we saw in the one pic? Or did it end up being the same as our Premium Prime?

 

its chrome, and the blade is all orange i think. its way better than our prime but at least you'll pay like 80 bucks for it and the chrome will scratch real easily because the grill turns into the feet so if you get it, try to keep it in truck mode.

i think you can preorder it at bbts but i dunno when it comes out, maybe i should check up on that

Yeah, it's a lot better with chrome and better paint, but I like to mess with my toys so it's get worn out pretty quickly. I just got a can of some pretty shiny(not as much as chrome) silver spray paint and painted some easily removable parts on my Premium Prime, and painted just the pop out part of the blade, since it's stick out if the whole thing were painted

 

Ya the Japanese one is a lot better then the Hasbro one no question.

I guess the pics they have up at BBTS for the Japanese Premium are stock pictures of the Hasbro one? Cause those pics don't have the chrome.

 

It's probably the nicest Movie figure to bad i still have my regular Movie prime and Megatron i like those premium.

 

I'm debating whether to get Takara's Premium Prime. I have Hasbro's on the way. When it gets here I'm going to look at it and decide whether I can live with this one and let the chrome one pass by. The way I see it is I never bought the plain one, so I know some of you bought two after the premium series came out. Three if you bought night watch. Takara's cost as much as two Prime's, so if I just buy the one Takara it's equivalent to buying two Hasbro's.

Any opinions from those who have one? One reviewer here noted that the paint on the sword wasn't too hot. Is anyone here as surprized as I am that Seanlong didn't review this like three month ago?

 

I would love to see some pics of the Takara Prime from a collector. Just to confirm that it does have chrome. The lack of it on the one shown on BBTS makes me leery to order.

I'd buy it if all or most of the gray was chrome. There isn't enough for me to justify the price.

 

I have one coming. I can do some comparison pis to regular movie prime when he gets in.

Here's mine. I just need to buy a cheap 1:32 truck & take the rear view mirrors from it & put them on Prime & then he'll be perfect!

WOW! where did you get the trailer?!

 

I got it at Magic-Mart but you can get them all over the net & ebay. Just search for 1:32 trailer. NEW RAY is the company that makes them. They have huge stickers that cover the entire sides. I pulled them off with some Goo Gone & a hair dryer.


I'm gonna get a tanker for Nightwatch Prime cuz he's Scourge/Nemesis Prime to me.

 

Yes it has chrome, yes it looks better, yes it is better then the Hasbro Premium Prime, yes it's worth every penny.
