No just one size .... just from the side by side they went with a more "blocky" look ( trad. robot ) which is making it look bigger next to the movie bee ( more human looking ) .

    NOooooooo, NOT ANOTHER PRIME!!! Grrrrr!.

Hmmm what can I re-cast him as?

Also I hope the art on those SW boxes aren't an indicator of the quality of animation we'll be getting from the new Clone Wars series? Ugh!

The Takara one has a Decepticon symbol on his nosecone and his burn marks on his back are much silver (not dark gray) and much lighter in over coverage.

Ugh I feel the same way about ANOTHER seeker. Getting the same toy 3 times in different colors isn't all that fun to me I'd rather see another mold. I admit the blue looks very nice all the colors looked nice but I can't warrant 100 a pop for repaints its just to steep :( . Now had it been grimlock like some rumors I heard I would of been ALL over it *sigh*.

Wasn't there some sort of rumor or hint @ BotCon from Aaron Archer that Hasbro may release MP Thundercracker as part of their Transformers 25th Anniversary figures? That could be worth investigating a bit more if it means a difference of paying $100+ for Takara's version vs. a way more affordable Hasbro version.

Or Grimlock, I think they should do Grimlock instead (or Soundwave.)

    i would love a
Masterpiece Ratchet (He was very important in the Marvel comics.) and I love Ratchet more than any other Bot.

I would, because that's how they did both SS and SW.

GTR is awesome, but I don't think I'll import it, even though I'm finally out of school and working. Too much change for too little figure.

Classics look fantastic though...Ironhide is the most exciting figure of the line, I think. GREAT toy, GREAT character and not at all overdone...a triple threat, and a rarity.

Convoy looks awesome and the automorph gimmick is one of my favorites...if its a lot bigger than movie bumblebee, unlike the one shown, I may pick it up.

How well does the present MP seeker design lend itself to being used as a conehead? Is it as simple as change in transformation steps & new wings like the G1 toys?

Not well at all, actually. The head is very far back from the nosecone that folds down into the chest. The toy would really have to be redesigned almost from scratch to have a conehead design.

    AKA forget about it.

I'm happy that Ironhide / Ratchet (any idea when Classics Ratchet is coming to the US?) will have a weapon and a actual head.

not true, only a very minor mod is needed to fit a cone head in place of the current one. the taller helmet fits quite nicely in-between the two halves of the torso. And yes, its been done. Check the Radicons.

I leave all my BTs in vehicle mode anyway. Anybody have a comparison shot with movie BB & any BT/Alt just so I could get an idea?

I don;t know what it is precisely (name etc) but I believe it's from Konami's "Sky Girls" line of girl figures with bizzare half transforming mech suits styled after classic airplanes.

This one is neither a classic plane nor a girl so I'd guess it's an enemy of sorts. It is prety cool but I'm really not into randomly buying one toy from a line here and there anymore.

What I don't understand is how Takara can have new toys on display but while people come back with pictures from these shows no-one ever seems to ask any questions. At least with Hasbro we get explanations about lines in advance of prototypes being shown.

And what's happened to the hobby scans F2F used to show every month? Do we know whether they've been asked to stop doing them by the magazines?

The Alternity figure reminds me a lot of Boombox
