I wonder if somehow your competition got you kicked off. That seriously sucks. Sorry to hear that. And if you ever do open up an online shop let us know - I'm sure we could all be able drive traffic to it - somehow. :thumb

    Ebay:
That does suck. You could always temporarily list stuff on here in the mean time while trying to set up stuff. Good luck to you and you always had awesome stuff out there too. I just don't get what they're trying to do on there anymore with all the negative response they've gotten

Red if you were any closer to me I'd happily help you list things...

Its a complete joke now, not only are sellers getting screwed over by non paying buyers with no fear of negatives, they are banning people left right and centre..

And they didn't tell you why???

You can demand to know through the data protection and freedom of information acts since we are in the uk ... get all data they hold on you...

Pity you can't sue em... or can you? Loss of earnings/livelyhood??

Oh man what the fuck? I was about to buy your Animated Soundwave & Jazz too. You sure as shit wouldn't get any bad word of mouth from me at all d00d, you're a class act, easily one of the best UK people I've dealt with. eBay can go fuck themselves. Let me know when they new store is up and running, I'll take my business to you any time.

This is a VERY good call. Working in local authority I know all about this, and they HAVE to give you whatever you want. You may need to put it in writing and they might charge you a nominal fee (they're allowed to charge reasonable costs for stuff like copying, paper etc.) but I'd suggest this route.

Sorry to hear about this RL. eBay seems to be transforming into the last place to buy anything these days due to all the crap on there and the bad merchants making a killing for being complete tossers :(

Good luck with getting everything sorted out. If eBay won't listen to you, maybe you should just run your own online store or even advertise stuff through Amazon or something. But whatever happens, think positive and hope for the best.

Every day, im every way, I hate eBay more. I wish there was a viable alternative that people actually used :(

That sucks big time. I'm glad I'm only a buyer on ebays but it sucks too see stuff like that happen. I don't know what ebay is trying to do with all this crap going on lately, but they're doing it wrong.

Just having a browse on ebay's "community" thing

I think the feedback explanation is a fob off.....

it could be multiple accounts - but since when are you not allowed a personal account and business account... and your partner have a personal and business account also

There is powersellers still trading with less than 95% feedback... so why are they not binned?

RL, I'll join the voices of support if you open your own online store - I'm unable to use eBay myself (idiots 'limited' my account due to suspicious activity - I 'won' a £1.95 BIN!) but I'll happily use other means. ;)

OK just had a brief look on their help pages:

You can use this link appeal against the suspension - it appears to be an email form though, so not certain how good that'll be or whether they'll read it. I'd also advise as Kenny suggested putting something in about the Freedom of Information Act and asking for all their information on you.

eBay also have a phone number which is a line in London - 0208 080 2101. It's only open during the week though, which is crap, but at least it won't be going through to some call centre somewhere on the sub-continent.

If I come up with anything else I'll post it up.

    Thanks Pete!

Jon I'm going to phone them on monday and try and sort it out, fingers crossed they will do something but whatever happens I will be doing my best to stay away from the from now on, it may sound like sour grapes but they really have turned into poison.

I was going to suggest this as well. Go through whatever channels you can. Perhaps see if you can go via your local MP or something, I also work in local authority and I know if you really want to rattle cages there, that is one way to go about it. Of course, Ebay might be slightly less concerned but it's an option.

It's completely dishonest and to be honest even seems a bit shady to just outright boot you off the site without some form of explanation, and especially without prior warning. This whole thing feels extremely wrong.

I'm also sorry I've not bought anything off you before - when you get something going I'll do my part by buying something off you!
